Is it just me...or does OBL sound like the typical Lib?

if my "shtick" was getting old, i'd doubt that i'd get three pages of posts one day after posting a thread. you may despise my "shtick", but find it interesting :)

I'll grant you that you could have made a post like this, say, 3-6 months ago and garnered something like vitriol from some of the replies. To say that I "despise" what you are posting only reinforces the idea that you aren't much of a smartass so much as a troll who's days are over.

    *cheers* :)

    dude, get over yourself :)
And you ask me what I want this year
And I try to make this kind and clear
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
Cuz I don't need boxes wrapped in strings
And desire and love and empty things
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days

    How's that?

The point of the thread, as clearly stated, was that the rant given by the little hairy man who lives in cave in the middle east bears a STRIKING resemblance to the rants I recieve in my ten-club newsletters. Global warming...evil capitalists...American imperialism.

That was the point, and nothing more. You can read into it however you want to...i'm just making an observation.

as for you people who don't take people who use the world "lib" seriously...trust me...i don't take you seriously either :)

and the point is meaningless. these views are in common the world over. from OBL, to various american christian churches, to swedish middle class, to african developing nations, to boston democrats, to many others. the fact that bin laden happens to be ranting about issues that concern 75% of the real world is hardly something anyone should feel embarrassed about.

I think the guy was given that speech to read. Really, it's just too conveniently "left-sounding' to be legitimately Osama Bin Laden. He's on the payroll. I'm convinced of this.

I find going to the zoo quite fascinating.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    Q: That's a bold statement.
A: I've read past transcripts of Osama bin laden, legitimate interviews, and these are atypical words for that man.
Q: So you're suggesting that he is on the CIA payroll now?
A: I'm suggesting he is safe, and mollified.
    Q: Mollified?
    A: Look it up.
