You've called me a Nihilist this week, and you alluded to fins post being Nihilist. And I know you are inaccurate regarding myself.

Further, it looks like you are glossing over your own Nihilistic tendencies, as put forth in my post above.

I'm not at all concerned with "Bowonsky" or whomever--I'm speaking to your interpretations and claims that are patently inaccurate.

    What claims?
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

Yea, it sounds like due to your conditions you won't accept the fact of reality, but rather search for and confabulate purpose. It makes sense.
It's posts like this where you define your own ignorance.

You own what you don't understand--that's about you, plain and simple. You can't possibly comprehend what onelongsong is experiencing or has experienced, and due to that fact when you make these judgments, you project your ignorance all over what he IS experiencing and what he perceives. Quite frankly, you have no idea.

Yea, that's right, go back to meditating Angelica. You are learning a lot more from it than I am from reading. I've just wasted my time reading all this research and stuff other people have wasted their lives on. You have all the fucking answers from a few hundred hours of meditation.

If this ignorance is how you deal with your conflicts then it's no wonder you don't seem to have productive ways of resolving what sounds discordant to you. By this kind of thing, you are definitely not taking the path of learning, growing and coming to understand the situation. You're taking the "win/lose" path. Unfortunately for you, you are perpetuating your own discordance. Good luck with that until you figure out win/win.

i find this out of line. if you only knew how many discoveries were made through meditation you'd slap yourself silly. the worlds greatest minds have meditated their theories. i think you owe angelica an apology. she is one of the most profound posters we have here. if you don't agree; then disagree; but there's no need to get nasty.

How do you respond to this?

Sure, meditation can help you with focus, but it doesn't help you learn facts!

You may not understand this, Ahnimus, But "win/lose" situations are where you must make a person "wrong" in order to feel okay about your own position. Your words and your attitude speak for themselves when you decide to minimize the views that you do not understand.

In win-win situations, when there is disagreement, people are interested in working things out because they realize it is in their best interests to learn and grow in order to be harmonious. One seeks to head off, rather than perpetuate conflict. More power to you in your choices.

There is a certain reality to insanity in the world. I've no way of knowing if a person is genuinely insane until they say something insane.

Angelica, I've forgotten what it is that you are wrong about. Can you refresh my memory a bit? :)

Your prioritization of facts tells us what you are interested in and it says absolutely nothing about what I or others know factually.

If you like parading your ignore-ance regarding the vast self-education I've acquired--including an obviously large repertoire of facts, be my guest.

I feel so much better about being labelled delusional and demented now that I know that you too have been deemed crazy Abook. :)

Damn!! It's an honor as far as I can see if you are the company I'm included in. :)

Aww shucks Jeanie :) You are always the sweetest! I've quite honored, myself, to be included in you girls company. :)

I'm judging for myself. I'm not listening to what I think is insane and accepting insanity as a valid argument.
