Right here.. Beheadings are never fun, but it's still somewhat surreal to watch another supposed human being lopping the dome of another human being.. These fucknuts are goddamn animals..

you crazy guy... I was only kidding. i don't want to see that...

I remember I was 9 when the security guard was shot in the head 3 times on the entrance of our apartment complex. The news were there and the ambulance too. His body lied in fetal position with his head dipped in a pool of blood. I will never forget that sight.

Purplehawk just sent me a PM titled. "what did your dad do to you?"

He follows with the message that he can't relate, however, he is thankful for social anxiety.

    Lol.

    Gosh.

i'm actually taking a class right now called Children and War. it's shocking how much this is happening all over the world. sometimes the kids are kidnapped or forced into joining. and sometimes they choose to join, either for revenge of some sort, or because it seems like a better option than their lives. it's really depressing.

a lot of times it's rebel groups recruiting the kids, but state armies are guilty too.

Have you ever heard the term "out of the mouths of babes". In our own society, kids will often say things when they know something is just not right, even if the rest of society has accepted it as a norm, kids know and will say so!
All the while, the kids will do what we tell them, becuase we are the adults, but they know...I know I always knew when something an adult, be it my parents, teachers, church, or school said was okay.
Yet, kids will do what they are told, mainly because the conflict of obeying elders, and the falsehood that adults are right, not to mention wanting the adults to be proud and to not be punished, called names or ostrized.

My career was working with troubles teens and I had 3 of my own. Oh, and I was one once.
And my education in field taught me all of this too, besides training on the job.
No one can tell me a 12 year old, from any walk of life, can not be harmed by doing such an act.
They are all children, no different than are own children.
That will leave scars upon him.
Pusy ass adults should do it themselves and leave the kids out of it.
    Save room for dessert!

Ok, so, I got experience and training. What specific research in your training pertains to this claim?

Everything I've read and heard in the fields of psychology and neurology suggests the opposite.

I do have extensive training in troubled youth. I am a social worker who worked with neglected, abused, and throwaway teens for many years. Kids are the same no matter where they live.
Yes, so what you have read people in these fields who say the opposite. BTW, please cite where you heard this.
I spent my entire life learning, doing research, and in the field about this.
Children are children regardless of where they are from. Their emotional maturity is not that of an adult...research that!!!
I find it stunning that anyone can't see that a 12 year old is not capable of fulling understanding what they have done, and at the same time knows what right and wrong. It is outside presures that make him belive this is the norm, but a child knows.
My research and training has been over 20 years and specialized in children, regardless of where they are from.
I can' give any specific research now, cuz there is so much.
I would love to see you reseach. I bet it is either non-existant or from some research that can easily be disproved.
Even commom sense should let one know that a 12 year old decapitating someone, then holding their bloody head would at least give mightmares, and some long range problems.
    Geez, its not rocket science.
Did you decapitate someone at 12 and then hold their bloody head for the media? Do you honestly think you'd have no long lasting effects from that?
    COMMON SENSE!

Well, I believe in Tabula Rasa, you are suggesting Innate Purity and I don't think it's that popular of a view amongst psychologists. According to the work of Margaret Mead children in a primative society don't waste time thinking about spirits, gods, easter bunnies, those are things we've taught our children to be concerned with in western soceities. As for neurology, it's pretty well known that the brain is nothing without sensory input to adapt to.

So, what I'm saying is if you grew up eating sushi, you probably like sushi. If you grow up chopping heads off "traitors" and "heretics" then you probably enjoy it.

Children in a primItive society may not bother with the easter bunny but they will definitely with spirits and whatever their gods are.... theire parents teach them that just as we teach our kids in western societies.

Wrong.. you may chop heads off because you HAVE to... not because you enjoy it.... you know it's wrong but you do it because if not, there may be repercussions.
There have been numerous interviews with child soldiers when adults and what they were relating was harrowing... they knew it was wrong, they knew they were going to pay for it later (yes - spiritualism), but they still did it because ADULTS were telling them to do it... growing up, it became a 'way of life' even if they still knew it was wrong.... A number of them, having escaped the 'system' that forced them into evil acts, committed suicide because they couldn't live with what they did...

Mead tells of Growing Up in New Guinea. "Margaret Mead told us how she came to the research problem on which she based her Growing Up in New Guinea. She reasoned as follows: If primitive adults think in an animistic way, as Piaget says our children do, how do primitive children think?
"In her research on Manus Island of New Guinea, she discovered that 'primitive' children think in a very practical way and begin to think in terms of spirits etc. as they get older.

In all cultures killing is wrong for the most part and kids are taught so. If they are taken into the fringe and put in that position, yes they will feel it's wrong. But no child ever thought killing a boar was wrong when it came to food. Nowadays some kids do, as their parents are vegetarians.

The island of Papua New Guinea is popular for researchers because of cultural diversity. I don't have a source right now, but there is a tribe that actually raids other tribes and steals their children, the children grow up to do the same.

    Apples and Oranges.
Its like saying if you grew up eating spinach, you might like it, but if you grew up being raped by step-father, I don't think you end up liking it.
    Bad Example, buddy.
