Much of my family perished in the Nazi Holocaust.....my generation of the family all have good lives, we have moved forward, but we will never put the past behind us.

most of my family was enslaved by hitler and forced to work in factories and on farms. they were killed towards the end of the war. what was left came to america as displaced people or DPs as we were called. we came here as poor dirt farmers and turned it all around.

With the approach and close of the American Revolution in the thirteen colonies, the Mennonites found themselves persecuted by their refusal to partake in political events in North America. Again, their religious opposition to war and search for a peaceful and segregated existence, with little or no involvement with state, was affected by their uneasy years in North America.

One example of the persecution faced by Mennonites was given in G. Elmore Reaman's book "The Trail of the Black Walnut" and Thomas A. Sherk's book "The Sherk Family" that:

"Sherk is a well-known name in the Niagara Peninsula. The original settler who spelled his name Schorg came from Lancaster County, in Pennsylvania in 1789, the revolutionists having burned his home because he sympathized with the British and harboured their officers."

Thomas Sherk clarified the point that this particular Sherk was Casper Sherk (Code H44), the son of my ancestral Grandfather Joseph Scherch (Code H4) whom I had described earlier. This is but one example of the many possible persecutions that may have existed at that time, which resulted in the migration of some Mennonites who had been loyal to the British crown, and to Upper Canada. Their loyalty was a result of the crown helping them to immigrate from Europe and settle in the colonies in earlier years.

Dude, I've got like a complete history of my family right here on CD. With lots of historical references.

few seem to know about them

On the other hand, several Melungeon men were tried in Hawkins County, Tennessee, in 1846 for "illegal voting." They were acquitted, presumably by demonstrating to the court's satisfaction that they had no African ancestry. Melungeon ancestry was questioned again in an 1872 trial in Hamilton County, Tennessee. This case questioned the legitimacy of a marriage between a white man and a Melungeon woman, and once again a court decided that the Melungeons were not of African ancestry.[24]

So your family were royalists....Many English who were loyal to the crown migrated to Canada because of their nationalism, not their religion. Thats not to say the issues werent relgious in the case of your family. Youd know more than I on that subject...
  • do you have a television? haven't you seen the mexican marches waving the mexican flag; or the cuban marches waving the cuban flag? what about gay pride marches and black marches? are these not groups? do they not promote their ideals? what about groups like the naacp? where have you been?

Sorry, I'm from the UK so I don't get to see all that stuff.

I've recently started reading James Bradley's book The Imperial Cruise and realizing in the early going of this book (great so far!) that white supremacy and the belief in the Aryan Myth goes back deeper in our culture that I realized.  Bradley talks about some of our national figures who were steeped in Aryan Myth/ white supremacist thought:

Theodore Roosevelt.  Roosevelt was raised with a white supremacist background as his southern belle mother told him stories that were full of racism.  He later studied under Professor John Burgess who taught that "only white people could  rule because the Teuton [an ancient Germanic tribe] had created the idea of the state".  Teddy was a Burgess fanatic.  He was also a phony outdoors man.  As Bradly puts it, "more soft blankets than barbed wire".  He was a sickly, wealthy, aristocratic child who early on realized he would not go far in life unless he made himself look tough. He went to a lot of effort  to make himself appear as though he were a great outdoors man. For example, he had staged photographs supposing to make him look like a rugged hunter.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.  A favorite poem of Theodore Roosevelt's was Longfellow's "The Saga of King Olaf".  It's no wonder-- that poem is a celebration of Teutonic White supremacy.

Charles Darwin.  Darwin praised "the great stream of Anglo-Saxon emigration to the west."  He also stated, in The Descent of Man, "At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races"

Ralph Waldo Emerson.  A big fan of Tacitus, the Roman senator and historian who wrote that long ago "the peoples of Germany [were] a race untainted by intermarriage with other races. a peculiar people and pure, like no one but themselves [with] a high moral code and individual rights..." (from Germania)

Thomas Jefferson.  Besides being a slave owner, Jefferson "justified Colonial America's breaking its ties with Mother England as a return to a better time when his Aryan ancestors had lived in liberty."  When asked to make a suggestion for the Great Seal of the United States, Jefferson suggested the two Teuton brothers who founded the Anglo-Saxon race.

Peter Burnett.  The mid 1800's California governor said, "That a war of extermination will continue to be waged between the two races until the Indian race has become extinct must be expected... The inevitable destiny of the [White} race is beyond the power of man to avert."

And this of course is just the tip of the iceberg.  It's no wonder race issues are still a big problem in America (and elsewhere).  Racial prejudice is deeply embedded in our blood. Better education and a deeper, truer understanding of history  would go a long way in lessening this problem.

I'm glad they've been weeded out.

Well, "incel" isn't a group.  It's just the label the left puts on angry white conservative males.  It's like the left's only version of libtard, cuck, and all the other names the right uses to demonize it's domestic enemies.  I don't really use it because it just seems like we're taking a cue from them.

Incel isn't an organized group, but incels do self-identify as such and are a very real thing, and as a woman I find it offensive that you're turning the real existence of incels (one of whom killed many Canadians in a terrorist attack in Toronto earlier this year) into some kind of insult directed at the left. You're dead wrong about incel being a term equivalent to cuck and libtard in general. You have no idea what you're talking about if you think that and are disrespecting the real victims of real incels. You're also depreciating the threat of them as a growing movement and sub-culture, which they are.
That said, does this guy identify as an incel or not, or at least have all the defining qualities of those who do? If not, then yeah, ALL people need to stop misusing the term, just like you need to stop saying what you just said about it.
