do you and cowboy george have the same speech writers??
maybe you two can ride out into the sunset and rassle a coupla terrorists together.
but seriously, you don't think that using such techniques when it serves OUR interests opens the door to other countries- maybe not as "enlightened" as ours- using those techniques and worse on our soldiers & civilians if it suits THEIR national interest?
and how exactly do you argue against the fact that torture- or >insert convenient euphemism here<- just doesn't produce reliable results? this has been said by many who are IN the military, who have actually been charged with carrying out these kinds of interrogations. it just doesn't WORK very well."Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States, Barack Obama."

you seem to think I want it used during every interrogation. I have said several times I hope it never gets used again.
I understand its use during very extreme times when an attack such as 9/11 or worse is imminent.0 -

jlew24asu wrote:so you are saying oil prices will go up if we invade Iran? man you are a fucking genius.
Actually I do rank very close to the genius level.
Sure makes one wonder with the war in Iraq. It would be safe to say the US govt planned on it (increasing) and rubbed it's hands together. Either that, or they are incredibly fucking stupid beyond belief. Perhaps both.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

you are far from genius level. but thanks for the good laugh today. sometimes you actually are funny.0 -

I know you do. You have a complete lack of historical perspective on anything. You're a bit like a fish in that respect.

for a guy who wishes all jews were dead its funny how you quote a jewish guy. trust me, I know much more about history then you. but in the context of the conversation, lets stick to the present. the past, as you quote it, is not relevant.0 -

Judging people's intelligence over political affiliation? Oh my.... That must mean you and Cowboy George are in fact genius. I'll stick to my brand of intelligence on that one (and so will 70% of the thinking populous) *wink* *wink*...Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

the substance of this thread is beginning to contradict the title.
let's not go down the road of calling each other stupid, shall we? it's an old fight, and besides we all know that republicans are for the most part dumb hillbillies in nice clothes."Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States, Barack Obama."

huh? not at all. I think georgy is a moron. I judge it on things like you posting a youtube video of a 9/11 conspiracy by the media claiming NO planes hit the twin towers. most (wink wink) are smart enough to dismiss it as utter garbage. you sucked it right up.0 -

I'd rather be wrong about something than an a-hole. One is a lot easier to remedy.

The fact that you guys are even using the term intelligence as if it's a measurable quality implies to me that none of you have learned to think outside the box to any meaningful degree.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire0
