As far as i can see it's always the middle classes who get shafted but at the same time they fight to protect it.

It's true. The poor have programs/laws to protect them, and the middle class, able to provide for itself, is subject to the same costs that the wealthy have. So while it is more difficult financially than their wealthier citizens, the middle class is able to obtain coverage.

So in summary, by and large, the folks who can obtain & pay for coverage do, and those who absolutely cannot are taken care of as well.

There are some that are not "poor" but are on the low-end of the middle class continuum, and they can get fucked. No doubt about that one and it's sad.

I think you have shown your intellegence, or should i say lack of it today.

You must be the only person on the board who i consistently disagree with.

Plus to be fair i didn't have the time yesterday, you know a little thing like having someone to go home means i have a little less time than you to sit on the computer.
Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.

How exactly does that make you intellegent jlew.

Does everyone else on this board agree with the crap that comes out of your mouth all the time? No don't think so and someone else even told you to pick up a book today i see.

My favorite of your really intellegent replies is "so will you burning the flag on 9/11" or "you'd love it if we got nuked" or "You love the iranian president"

The intellegence really shines out of those posts.

with the amount of hate for the evil empire, you cant help but think some people, including you, feel america got what it deserved on 9/11.

and love for the Iranian president? are you kidding. just look at rolands thread today. Iran or the prez can do no wrong. and when he is shown the evil that goes on, his response is....its ok, they will evolve.

Between the influx of low wage illegal workers, increasing prices, shrinking wages, and the ever-increasing gap between the wealthy and everyone else, the middleclass could be going extinct.

You sure like to fill in your own blanks on what people think. My post was to clarify yet another misinterpretation of what was said. You do realize the US govt is steering it's citizens into yet another war don't you?

I also clarified the "wipe israel off the map nonsense" which you fought tooth and nail to hold on to.

You think I'm off base for attempting to clarify matters considering yet another a war is about to start?

    That would be interesting.

I really don't get your mentality at all, Americas foreign policy stinks and has since the end of world war II, quite frankly a person would have to be braindead to not relise that. But that does not equate to wanting to see innocent people die.

This is what annoys me about you, you will defent America first and formost if someone points out something wrong with it's actions before condeming the actions which you know full well are wrong.

Your a true patriot. Exactly what they want you to be.

this is where you are wrong. I hate our current foreign policy. you have never seen me defend military action against Iraq (the invasion). and I have always been against any military action in Iran.

I'm just not as quick as you to send out blanket statements that America is evil. you do it daily. actually you dont. you step in cheerlead when many others do it.

It's not about blanket statments that america is evil? It's about people needing to wake the fuck up and see what is happening in the world at the moment and yes the american goverment is at the centre of most of it. At the end of the day is my country not in Iraq too? and will my stupid goverment not follow your stupid goverment furthur into this bullshit? We are in involved in this stupid shit as much as you are.

But instead of seeing that you jump to the defence of your country. There's no need man, just see whats really going on it's not pretty whatever we are sleep walking into.

    "Stuff White People Like

#75 Threatening to Move to Canada
    February 24, 2008 by clander

Often times, white people get frustrated with the state of their country. They do not like the President, or Congress, or the health care system, or the illegal status of Marijuana. Whenever they are presented with a situation that seems unreasonable to them, their first instinct is to threaten to move to Canada.

For example, if you are watching TV with white people and there is a piece on the news about that they do not agree with, they are likely to declare “ok, that’s it, I’m moving to Canada.”

Though they will never actually move to Canada, the act of declaring that they are willing to undertake the journey is very symbolic in white culture. It shows that their dedication to their lifestyle and beliefs are so strong, that they would consider packing up their entire lives and moving to a country that is only slightly different to the one they live in now.

Within white culture, it is agreed upon that if Canada had better weather it would be a perfect place.

Being aware that this information can be used quite easily to gain the trust of white people. Whenever they say, “I’m moving to Canada,” you must immediately respond with “I have relatives in Canada.”

They will then expect you to tell them about how Canada has a perfect healthcare system, legalized everything, and no crime. Though not true, it will reassure them that they are making the right choice by saying they want to move there.

But be warned, they will reference you in future conversations and possibly call on you to settle disputes about Canadian tax rates. So use this advice only if you plan to do some basic research.

Yes, I thought I must have been confusing him with someone else.

I would go back a little further to say 1823 with the writting of the Monroe Doctrine. That was the initial pebble in the lake. The Roosevelt Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine was also a defining moment in the progession of our government becoming our enemy.

I'd say that the dropping of the atmo bombs on Japan symbolised the moment when the U.S government sold the country down the crapper/sold it's soul to the devil - or however else you wanna phrase it. I think it was a defining moment.

Not that I condone the murder of anyone but can you please explain what you think America did derserve after 50 years of supporting Israeli terror, decimating Iraq in 1991, propping up numerous puppet regimes throughout the Middle East, bombing a major Sudanese Medical factory, and sitting back and allowing tens of thousands of Bosnian Muslims to be slaughtered in Yugloslavia, e.t.c?

This may be considered controversial and offensive to many Americans on this messageboard, but here is an age old saying which goes: 'You reap what you sow'.

But then many Americans are of the opinion that 9/11 occured out of an historical vacuum.
