    it seems the reason Gore is even mentioned in running now is b/c he won an Oscar...that lends credibility to anyone. If he is that passionate about global warming and offering solutions maybe he should focus his efforts on policy change via lobbying education etc... rather than losing 2 years of his life (and putting his global warming crusade on the back burner) campaigning for something he can't attain...again. He can prob do more good out of the whitehouse than in. If he really wanted to win people over he'd quit with the whole humans are responsible angle and work towards here's how we can better use our resources. Not too many people will argue with being efficient with resources but more people will argue with humans are responsible for climate change.

    and improvement over the "republican" in office now...

    there is no way hillary or obama could win...one of them getting the party's nom. is like acquiescing to a rep. president for four more years...

    why don't you want him to run? i think his move to the green-left makes him a good candidate for someone like you...but, what do i know.

    I feel like he had a chance as VP to help make some big changes and blew it. Perhaps he wasn't as informed and impassioned at the time as he is now, I don't know. I just see Cheney's influence in the current admin and didn't see that so much with Gore.

    It's hard to run on the "green-left" party line. Look at Nader even though he was strictly Green/Independent. Plus Gore lost (not the popular vote) so I would bet its even harder to run a second time.

    I do want to see his movie as well!! :)

    consider the president in each situation - clinton is a very capable man...bush was electable...

    i don't think the world was ready for what gore has been championing lately...now, we are...hopefully...gore would have been a good president in '00...and, i feel, he will be even better now...

    why gore? as i have said...i don't feel hillary and obama have a chance in hell to win the election...so, i would rather see a logically viable candidate with the political might and intelligence to go up against the rep. machine.

    Absolutely!! It always pisses me off when I tell people I voted for Nader and they say it's a wasted vote. Did you see the Jon Stewart interview with him?He is still taking shit for it. I hate that!!! It is anybody's right in this Democratic society to vote for who they want!

    Gore has been championing the end of the world in approximately 9 years. I wasn't ready for it then, nor am I ready for it now.

    the fact is - you're right - we do have a right to vote for whoever we choose - but, the way it is, now, we are only cacpable of voting for TWO people...that's BULLSHIT!

    At one point Ross Perot had 39% of the American people's support. Better than Bush (31%) and Clinton (25%) until he dropped out of the race for a few weeks. Cold feet? Maybe... But, as for the voting system, a third party candidate is more than viable.

    It is bullshit. And the parties cater usually towards the middle to get as many votes as they can. Its funny to me that they cater to the middle yet people are so polarized so Democrat or Republican. Why can't you be Pro Choice and Pro life? I know I am opening a can of worms but really...:)
