The Warner Theater in Washington DC
is the smallest venue on the tour... capacity 1800
i didnt want to mention that until the 10c sales were over
i have never been there but i have seen it on TV... if you are interested it was the venue for comedian Lewis Black's last HBO special "Red, White, and Screwed"... check it out if you get a chance, Lewis Black is hilarious and it will give you some nice shots of the beautiful theater

I noticed that's where Lewis Black was for the taping of that special when I watched it on Comedy Central earlier this week. They followed it with another comedian's special that was also taped at Warner Theatre.
Great looking venue. Makes me want to dress up when I go see Ed there in August.0 -

They probably wouldn't let Ed play at the Kennedy Center because he says fuck too much. Lewis Black talks about this in "Red, White, and Screwed". He (Lewis Black) was supposed to perform at the Kennedy Center, but they thought his show was too vulgar, so he did the show at the Warner.0 -

I guess I just like it better when more people who want to see this can get in to see a show. I am sure there a lot of people who got shut out that would agree....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0 -

Me too. I know it is a great place. Put I just know Kennedy and Constitution, they are a little bigger and the intamacy level would have been the same. I am not complaining either way....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0 -
I fucken better get tickets tommorowOut of the Blue and Into the Black................Uncle Neil Philly 08 here I come!!!!0

Can't wait for this show on a Saturday night...They've got some pretty cheap hotels at some really nice places on hotels.com. Cap City Brew is alright, but we'll probably be hitting up Lauriol Plaza - excellent swirl margaritas....Yes, kinda limp wristed, but they're good shit. Not to mention the array of tequilas and sweet food. The crab enchilada is awesome.0

I've never been to the Warner either, but I am really excited for this show. Been dying to see PJ/Ed in a really small venue for many many years.
Does anyone have a sense of how hard it was to score posters on the West Coast EV tour?
Edit: Found my answer here:
