Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

haha David Icke? I don't think he has an opinion does he?I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. I have some issues with Jones. Particularly that he isn't as rational as he fancies himself, preaching about God proves that. Secondly that he asserts that Bush's hand gestures that set off italians were truly satanic, when Alex is from Austin, Texas and knows that the local Football team the Longhorns use the hand gesture as a salute to the team, they call it the Hook 'em Horns. While its possible Bush intends it to be satanic, its more likely he's saluting the Austin Longhorns and Alex has irrationally gone the other way.
On the other hand Alex does a buttload of research into the government and comes up with some excellent verifiable facts. You just have to be scrutinous with his claims.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. They US has to fix a few things internally first before it tries to roll itself out around the world using military force.

Thanks Ryan. Just watching him then on the link I wasn't taking issue with what he was saying so much but his presentation set off a few little alarm bells for me.
Evangelical was the word that sprung to mind.
I guess like everything you gotta weed out what sounds feasible and what doesn't.NOPE!!!

I disagree with the "yeah but he's religious argument". I don't think religion is going distract anything from Jones' ability to see the sign posts of a political corruption scheme strategically playing out.
He has incredible skills regardless. Many of his claims already seem to be reading like a checklist.
Another Alex Jones series.

Yea, he doesn't actually preach religion, but rather he makes statements like "God is gonna cut you down" which I don't agree with and usually turns me off from listening to a speaker or a musicianI necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Yeah, that's my issue with it too I think. I'm struggling to get through what he's saying not because I don't believe that he is quite likely correct with some of what he's saying but because of the format I think. It's very sensationalistic.NOPE!!!

that's what i dislike, too...negativity only brings more negativity (and didn't someone say they refused to support such things?)

Alex is, in essence, talking about or criticizing people that don't exist.
They have no identity so we don't actually know who they are.
He argues they do exist because they seem to have full access to control anything on US soil, and beyond, at this point via police and military might to control terrorism....to make us safe.
So it's looking like the constitution has taken some really important hits in some key areas.
The progression of events needs to be scrutinized.
I'd like to know how he finds all this stuff out though.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

I haven't seen Waking Life. Actually today with Roland's posts is the first time I've seen the guy.
I'm finding him easier to swallow the more I watch him though. I guess coz I'm expecting the format now.NOPE!!!

i don't know that i'd say he was a fraud b/c he didn't parts in farenheit 911 that alex jones thought should be in it...
and he even said he was 'covering up' these things! what if he didn't believe those parts? what if he thought ppl wouldn't take it serioulsy and maybe giving them easier stuff to swallow would get them to research on their own?
regardless, i don't think not saying something necessarily means you are covering it up....alex jones doesn't ever criticize israel, is he really a crypto-zionist covering things up?standin above the crowd

Right.
Who can blame Moore for not making a movie centered around the 9/11 conspiracy (which I believe, actually)? He brought tons of attention to the fact that the war was already in the works way before 9/11 and exposed how it was all based on lies. Back in 2004, people would have completely tuned his movie out if he went about it the way Jones thinks he should...he would have been laughed at and called a lunatic. I think he did the best he could given the political landscape at the time. Which brings me to another point which Kabong touched upon...just because Moore didn't make the film Mr. Jones thought he should have does not make him a fraud. Can Jones get anymore paranoid and creepy? Now Moore is secretly covering up for Bush and must be in on it all. C'mon, what a stretch!! This is nothing more than Jones doing what he does best...alienating people with his over the top assertions. He hurts the 9/11 truth movement the exact same way. Sometimes I wonder if Jones would question why his shadow is following him so closely....it's got to be the big, bad government casting the sun that way! His methods and tactics are the problem, he does make some good points....but he always manages to taint all of his good points with the other crap he spouts of about constantly. If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

I think Jones is just taking Micheal Moore to school a bit and setting the amp dial to eleven.
Turning on the windshield wipers so to speak. Jones makes no mistaking the seriousness and severity of the "dark ones"
But think of it. If somehow the power of the United States had fallen to criminal hands, everything he is saying makes sense.
If anything I think he's saying Moore is an even better participant to the institution than people make him out to be.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

Well like most things, I think the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.
Michael Moore has done some amazing things in terms of bringing awareness to the masses but I'm quite sure that all that he has said and done won't be the gospel truth.
Just as this Jones fella has probably hit upon the truth on more than one occassion.
Certainly both of them give us something more to ponder than we get from most media these days.NOPE!!!

To me, Jones comes across much like Bush did with his 'Either you're with us or against us'. Can he not grasp that though people may not agree with everything he says that they can still be trying to do good work? He has no proof of Moore purposely covering anything up or protecting anyone but that doesn't stop him stating his paranoia as fact.
I do think the power in the US has fallen into criminal hands...but that's not going to make me question everyone else's sincerity especially the ones out there doing good activist work. What about Chomsky? Pearl Jam? So because they aren't out there saying 9/11 was inside job...does that make them lackeys for the government, as well?
So you honestly believe Moore is covering things up on purpose? Like he's in with the government? Or are you saying you think he helps them without knowing he is really? If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.
