People like Jones who put their lives on the line to give the common man a voice deserve our respect.
I think we are partly responsible for making him crazy because no one is protesting or doing anything about it. I think he does not take a calm approach to it due to the nature of what he is talking about.
do you think michael moore is a fraud?
i think a big problem w/ alex jones is his delivery. if you ask someone questions nicely more than likely they will be nice back, maybe answer, maybe have a real dialogue...but if you start it by declaring the other to be a fraud, or whatever, any normal person would get defensive and not want to talk to that person
when you start out accusatory it seems like your mind is already made up
standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

Jones is the canary in the coal mine. What Moore is doing is the humanitarian approach to what Alex Jones is ultimately saying. Alex Jones is 100% in what will happen if we let the terrorist thing take over our lives.
Moore does not understand or explore the possibilities Alex does. Alex can see further down the road into the future.
How do you think they just piled people into death camp trains into large groups to gas them and they willingly agreed.
They just corralled people into ghettos. How? They just did it. How do you suppose that all took place? nobody had a clue what was going on.
I think it definitely can happen again and on a much larger scale.
There's an incredibly strong potential for it to happen again. Look around.
Some people already think I'm the potential enemy for talking about it. Hmm, it seems we are getting quite close already.
It all starts with the erosion of our civil liberties due to fear. That process is still ongoing. Make no mistake...we are being assaulted minute by minute behind closed doors.
The next attack, or incident, will have them rushing to melt down the borders.
Mark my words. This will be the next combination of events. Something, anything to push the great North American border meltdown.
Its a pretty scary place to be sitting unaware or complacent at.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

Put is this way...there is a generic recipe for enslaving mankind. It's been done time and time again throughout history around the world.
Jones knows this recipe very well and can smell it cooking.

Oh no, I don't believe Moore is a fraud. Alex was, I think, making Moore's approach to the "potential reality" of the situation look soft in it's approach.
Soft, overly cautious, or lacking would have been much better words than fraud.
I've already emailed it to Michael to see if he gives it any thought (or even has the time).
Alex is too harsh for most people, but he's the ultimate warrior and voice of the people. He has to be the way he is. Alex is Alex. To do what he does he HAS to fit that persona. The freedom fighter persona, or his message is lost. He does have a strong religious flavor in his delivery which you need to filter or process a bit to get to the meat of his argument. To identify with the very principles, and methods, of how we move up and down on the ladder of control.
Alex probably talks just like the patriots of 100 years ago would talk to large groups of people in meeting places in towns and cities that started large historical movements.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

Life has a bright side and a dark side, for the world of relativity is composed of light and shadows. If you permit your thoughts to dwell on evil, you yourself will become ugly. Look only for the good in everything so you absorb the quality of beauty. ~ Paramahansa Yogananda

Yea, he doesn't actually preach religion, but rather he makes statements like "God is gonna cut you down" which I don't agree with and usually turns me off from listening to a speaker or a musician
Now dont you go criticizing Johnny Cash on me here. "God is gonna cut you down" is an amazing song, even though I dont particularly believe in the lyrics per se.

Listening to Alex Jones for awhile I'm convinced he is real and cares. He does the best he can. He actually is treating Moore better since the recent interview where Moore admitted problems with 9/11 and that he has questions about it as well. Alex hates crooks and liars, murderers, and he is usually right. He gets people to ask questions and open up to what is going on right in front of their faces. And he even respects stars that know that 9/11 was an inside job but don't want to come out about it with this mainstream media ready to pounce. Good for Alex Jones, I like him. He plays some good music during his show. Bob Marley, RATM, Immortal Technique. I emailed him and asked for Pearl Jam! haha.
He gets mads and goes off but he gets that we are all in this together.

Awesome post. I don't expect Alex or his correspondents some of them 9/11 widows to be civil to criminals who are running around free only because everyone in the government is to afraid to take any action against them. See Bill/Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, George H. W. Bush, Henry Kissinger, these people are traitors. All of them have committed crimes and they get away with it.
Did you know Michael Moore and his business partner were originally funded by ???
George H. W. Bush. It's true, Moore freely admits it. Not saying anything further on that but it is interesting to say the least.
But Alex wasn't so much upset that he didn't make an inside job movie, it's the limiting of the conversation, not allowing people to ask certain questions, that was what he went after him about. Limiting the discussion even in interviews, etc. Since Moore has come out and brought up some issues that bother him with 9/11 and that he wants a new investigation (within last couple of months), Jones has applauded Moore. He doesn't think he is the greatest guy ever but he said that takes courage and Moore did it.
Who can blame Moore for not making a movie centered around the 9/11 conspiracy (which I believe, actually)? He brought tons of attention to the fact that the war was already in the works way before 9/11 and exposed how it was all based on lies. Back in 2004, people would have completely tuned his movie out if he went about it the way Jones thinks he should...he would have been laughed at and called a lunatic. I think he did the best he could given the political landscape at the time. Which brings me to another point which Kabong touched upon...just because Moore didn't make the film Mr. Jones thought he should have does not make him a fraud. Can Jones get anymore paranoid and creepy? Now Moore is secretly covering up for Bush and must be in on it all. C'mon, what a stretch!! This is nothing more than Jones doing what he does best...alienating people with his over the top assertions. He hurts the 9/11 truth movement the exact same way. Sometimes I wonder if Jones would question why his shadow is following him so closely....it's got to be the big, bad government casting the sun that way! His methods and tactics are the problem, he does make some good points....but he always manages to taint all of his good points with the other crap he spouts of about constantly.
MM only talks about things he can prove. This is evident in the fact he's only been sued twice and lost 1 (james nichols).
Farenheight 911 is about the bloodlust of bushco before 911 and the evil steamrolling of iraq and a war for profit after it.
I am sure he wants to do a doc on what went on behind 911, but without being able to produce published documents and people willing to put their life on the line and go on camera you're pretty much left with "loose change".
I think moore clearly proves Bushco had motive, resources and opporotunity.

the war was in place since 1998. saddam was told many times that if inspectors were not allowed; he would be attacked. we had a president that was all talk and do nothing so it waited until someone with balls got into office.
i also find it funny how so many people will quote youtube as an authority when anyone can manufacture a video and post it there. it's nothing more than a glorified message board.
The recipe I smell here is fear and that's what enslaves us.
If you constantly focus on the negative that's all you're ever gonna see.
That's true, but Jones isn't the one creating and pushing the fear that's attacking our civil liberties. He is making us aware of those who are, so we can stop the control process an not have to live in fear.

Youtube can be used to make points just as websites, articles and many either forms of media. No form of media can be considered an authority on anything if it doesn't have merit. Youtube clips can have merit just as easily as they can be bullshit...the same goes for anything.

i agree with you. i took a clip and superimposed hillary's face in a 9/11 plane about to hit the WTC. i was going to post it on youtube to see how long it takes to be posted here but i got busy with something else; then wondered why bother.

I see no reason to blast youtube because some people who use it may not be being truthful. You have to use your own smarts everyday to decide if what you're reading, hearing or taking part in is in fact based on truth no matter what form of media it's coming from.

Correct, but following him only empowers the people to stand up against the government and put the ultimate power back into the voice of the people where it belongs.
He is 100% for the people.
It's beautiful. What he speaks is poetry.

I'm sorry, I can't see any poetry in focusing your life around negativity. It seems to me, this negatvity has made Jones a slave to it and it consumes his every thought...like it's all he's got. Seems sad to me but that's just my opinion.

His movies bring awareness, but I think he's a little out there. I wouldn't trust Michael Moore. I just like the fact that he gets me thinking about things I might otherwise not notice.
They are both wrong about things. But they both bring real facts and real questions to the public.
Moore was wrong about Canadian health care. I pointed that out as soon as I finished watching the film. It costs Ontarions $50 for an ambulance for starters and wait times can be very very long. I've waited 3 hours at the walk-in clinic, that's not unusual.
Jones was wrong about Bush's hand gesture the "hook 'em horns" and many of his claims are hard to verify, some I haven't been able to verify, like LBJ's statement "I want that goddamn ship going to the bottom" in regards to U.S.S. Liberty.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

i think everyone is wrong. not one person alone has all the facts. you can go on and on all day about this and that but there's a human factor. you'll never know what a doctor will do. i gave examples of how a doctor can work around the system. close those loopholes and medical schools will empty.

still waiting for the cuba link by the way, so you have yet to prove your argument either
You've totally missed the point about sicko
it's not about how great things are in cuba, it's about how our system sucks.
You're like one of those critical of the film by saying "Moore is inaccurate in the number of people who have no health care, it's not 50 million it's 46 million!" As usual Moore has stretched the truth about some stuff and gives a skewed view about other things. But like his other movies, if even 10% of what he's saying is true it's pretty damning.
I live in California and I have no idea what someone in DC is thinking but I know that they take money from health care providers for their campaigns then kill any hope of universal health care.

i agree with you. i took a clip and superimposed hillary's face in a 9/11 plane about to hit the WTC. i was going to post it on youtube to see how long it takes to be posted here but i got busy with something else; then wondered why bother.

What he speaks is poetry.

that's my point exactly.
I'm sorry, I can't see any poetry in focusing your life around negativity. It seems to me, this negatvity has made Jones a slave to it and it consumes his every thought...like it's all he's got. Seems sad to me but that's just my opinion.

His ship sank a long time ago.

I imagine it would depend on what one is willing to think some people in this world are capable of. Especially when some of them are on the record as having a specific expressed interest.

Liberty.
i think everyone is wrong. not one person alone has all the facts. you can go on and on all day about this and that but there's a human factor. you'll never know what a doctor will do. i gave examples of how a doctor can work around the system. close those loopholes and medical schools will empty.

still waiting for the cuba link by the way, so you have yet to prove your argument either
I live in California and I have no idea what someone in DC is thinking but I know that they take money from health care providers for their campaigns then kill any hope of universal health care.
got any Aetna in your stock potfolio by chance?
