    Vancouver is beautiful and seems to have a growing south american population if that is important to you. It is very multicultural in general in Vancouver, very diverse. There is no snow here, but it rains like hell, and sometimes in the winter you don't see the sun for weeks. There are always shows to go to in Vancouver, live music comes through here all the time.

    My hometown is Calgary, its a great place too. As many have stated, the job market is booming there. In general it is a very friendly city, easy to make friends. The winters are quite cold though, lots of snow, but always sunny.

    Calgary has the best hockey team.

    Ok, now i'm more than happy to move, the US is going to be always in a very special place in my heart, but for what i saw at this humble post Canada is going to be awesome, now i know any place in Canada will be great, when i make my decision where to live in Canada i will let you all know, i will invite all my fellow neighbors Pearl Jam fans to a BBQ.

    No I know, I was just kidding. It is beautiful out west, I feel Eastern Canada is where its at though. There is work there too despite popular opinion.

    Halifax is a way nicer city than Vancouver, what else for architecture do you mean on the slpadash west coast?? Also, no where else in Canada do people take such care and pride in there homes, however small. Drive rural and you see endless immaculatley maintained often quie interesting houses. Not a lot of subdivisions either, which practically is van. Maritimers have hundreds of years of designing behind them, and basic class in homesteads foreign all over ontario and interior bc. Alberta im not even touching.

    Toronto is where you are most likely to see PJ the most (sorry to the rest of the country) - also is the best "hub" for seeing them in major east coast cities...that said, Vancouver would be a great choice for lifestyle, climate, etc.

    I cant believe people said that Montreal is the nicest city in Canada. People who said that never come to Quebec for sure. IF you want a taste of Europe come in Quebec City !

    Wow how nice!!! What a city! like i said, looks like any place in Canada is going to be a blast, but Toronto is ahead of the rest just because is a "hub" to see Pearl Jam; but how beautiful is Quebec.

    haha, its true that vancouver's got some pretty lame buildings.
    i was talking about job market anyways, you said he could work on the dock... unless you mean house boat designing.......
    right, in bc we don't have immaculate houses, we live in shacks. but the cost of energy for our grow-ops just takes up too much time and money! ;)
    anyways, as i've said many times already, i'd love to go to the maritimes and i think its amazing there from waht i've seen and heard. i know the people are nice, thats what i said. but like i also said...and once again everyone else has said, the entire country has different elements that make it unique...
