    you right, it's not everywhere...

    this is:

In listing the 28 attacks he planned and another three he supported, Mohammed said he tried to kill international leaders including Pope John Paul II, President Clinton and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.

He said he planned the 2002 bombing of a Kenya beach resort frequented by Israelis and the failed missile attack on an Israeli passenger jet after it took off from Mombasa, Kenya.

He also said he was responsible for the bombing of a nightclub in Bali, Indonesia. In 2002, 202 were killed when two nightclubs there were bombed.

Other plots he said he was responsible for included planned attacks against the Sears Tower in Chicago, the Empire State Building and New York Stock Exchange in New York City, the Panama Canal, and Big Ben and Heathrow Airport in London — none of which happened.

the above is from here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,258817,00.html

    man, that motherfucker was busy....

Your missing any form of truth.

And my question was have you read anything that challenges your view. Because you swallow every news story like it's the gospel truth. Hell they even teach media students in University that the press doesn't always tell the truth.

nobody has disagreed. i like how you have no answer to a real post with common sense except for your karl rove "america-hater" rhetoric. if we doubt the validity, we're clearly pro el-queda eh? nobody here has mentioned innocence except you. did your wife cheat on you with an arab or something last night? you're normally a relatively reasonable dude but i've never seen you act so stupidly one-dimensional on here before. you're smarter than the bullshit you're spewing here today.

actually I got the story from yahoo.com

and you are silent when i confront you with the fact that america itself has acknowledged that admitting to things means little. it's why we broke away from britian and places such huge importance on due process, trial by hury, transparent justice systems, etc. but i repeat myself. granted, you try to ignore it becos you know you're talking out your ass and everyone here has nailed you on it.

nailed me on what? that he is innocent until proven guilty? ok fine, lets have the courts decide. but with a confession, I look forward to the results

The transcripts also refer to a claim by Mohammed that he was tortured by the CIA, although he said he was not under duress when he confessed to his role in the attacks.

Well it sure don't lie with news channels does it.

So by this i take it that universitys don't teach any form of truth either then only your news networks do.

As i've said before try reading some books. You may well learn from them.

on the fact that confessions produced under duress are unreliable. whether or not he was being tortured at the moment he confessed is irrelevant. they broke him. they tortured and leaned on him for YEARS and he ended up confessing to everything they asked him to... so they just solved 15 years worth of terrorism and everyone gets a gold star and a raise. we have people in america who were held in holding cells for a few hours and simply INTIMIDATED by police before signing confessions that gave them death sentences for crimes they didn't commit, only to be exonerated by dna evidence later... and you're telling me it's impossible that maybe his resume was padded even a LITTLE bit after years of torture and imprisonment without trial or counsel?

torture will make some people say anything...

edit: maybe he's right, he wasn't under duress, he was under dewater....
