    the sad part is the next step is most likely some sort of bailout of the housing sector with tax payer money. so if you didn't over extend yourself over the past few years....you're fucked

    some people on this thread don't seem to fully grasp the concept of taxation, nor do they seem to boast even a rudimentary grasp of economics.

    and go to mexico for a week and help out their economy by spending it all there......

    If you spend all your money in Mexico, it will be spent here eventually (probably at the outlet malls of some southwestern state).

    Considering that immigrants send billions back to their families in Mexico every year, I find it difficult to fathom how or why those families would then take a trip to southwestern US outlet mall to spend that money.

    Also, the border fence is a joke. Even if it is built, it won't have an impact on illegal immigration.
