After seeing all of the amazing framing on this site I didn't want to embarrass myself by posting these. Not even sure if these links work, as I just created a photobucket account. I tried to match the matting with a color in the poster, and bought the frames at Michaels.
You did a good job with this frames, nice work. You are lucky to have this matching colors for mat, specially that blue color for Ed's poster.
maverick Hartford looks awesome too, not a big fan of that poster but great framing job, I love double mat work.
I love to see my favorite thread on the first page, I am bringing some of my new pics tomorrow.CAN'T KEEP CRAZY MARY IN MY TREE NO WAY NOT FOR YOU. ALL THOSE YESTERDAY JEREMY is ALONE, SAD with RATS & BUGS it's HARD TO IMAGINE a JEREMY a BETTER MAN.

several places ...
Masterframer (former board member, still a member of expressobeans) did up 3 PJ prints for me, very nicely.
I had Off the Wall, a poster and frame shop in SF, handle a few emek pieces.
Some folks, frame their own stuff ... get their frames from American Frame.

It's the first I've framed, but I've got all the posters for all my shows back to '98 ready to go. I know exactly how I'm going to frame DC '06, Camden 1 '06, and East Lansing '98. The rest are up in the air. I've been searching the thread, but it's awfully big.
Any suggestions for any of my other posters (in the signature)?96 - Toledo

Here are a few pics of my WPB & Hartford posters from this past tour. This is my 1st attempt at framing...I ordered all supplies from American Frame and mounted them myself. It was pretty easy and only took about 15 minutes each. I used archival mounting boards, UV resistant plexiglas, paper hinging tape and acid free mats... I looked into other options before I decided to do it myself. Micheals had a 50% off sale and I went in to get a quote and even considering the "discount", it was still way, way more than what the materials cost me from Americanframe.com. Overall, I am very satisfied with the outcome and plan to frame the poster of each PJ show I've attended. My wife is pretty cool about letting me hang up the first two posters in the house...I hope she feels the same about hanging up 10 of 'em

Excuse the poor picture quality.
It was a tough decision to use a white frame on the HI.... I like uniformity and have the same black frame on 7 other prints in the house. I like how it turned out though and am glad I went with it
I think I'll get a re-cut mat for that Dusseldorf so the top of the flagpole thing shows.0 -

I like the work on the Gorge print ... appears to be a suede mat, the color scheme looks great and the ticket isn't too distracting ... I usually don't like tickets in the framed prints, but, I *really* like that one. Well done!
As for the DC, the ticket seems to be a bit out of place with the black colors.
But, MOST importantly ... how do YOU like it ... because, that's what REALLY matters the most!"You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

I know the lighting isnt the best on the gorge picture, and the wood in the backround doesnt help either but you hit it on the head with the blue suede matting. The frame is black with gold trim . The blue matt really sets off the blue on the fiddler.....
As for the DC 06 , I absolutely love this frame job!! I think the Black velvet matt with the white inside border goes well with the white around the cross and in the flag suit and stars....And the Black frame with the silver lining brings it all together. I am really happy with both, but ty for your input as well..
