I don't know if "evil" is the right word, but there is something that separates someone who shoots at U.S. troops from someone who takes the U.S. presence as an opportunity to avenge some religious or personal slight, or from someone who decides to blow up a car bomb in a crowded market with no U.S. troops for blocks in sight.

Lets say.. that my country - was invaded by superior Iraqi forces - because they felt we needed learn to follow allah. And during the invasion many of my friends and family were killed. and now they patrol my streets - established an islamic government and insisted as soon as we accept their way - the bloodshed would stop.

I am left to keep quiet - go to work and pretend to support those trying to convert the US to Islamic law - or.. join the resistence

The resistance trying to save American culture - and avenge the losses I suffered. If we got some of their soldiers wandering - I'd do things like burn their bodies and hang them from a bridge - to send a clear message that you will not Iraqify my home town.

Now.. lets say there are some neighborhoods that have chosen to give-in and assimilate - to worship allah - and help the invadors bring down the resistence.. lets say they fingered some more of my friends and family - and the Iraqis killed them.

well, these neighborhoods are easier to target - and I'm gonna kill them too.. to send the message that if you help the Iraqis you are my enemy.

now if my town has complete lawlessness - groups would form, - and compete for power.. and the language is violence -

I imagine we'd be killing each other quite a bit..

12 or made to join the army at 18. It all amounts to the same thing. Get taught hate and you can do anything that your black heart desires. From what I know, you don't get tossed into the army to get taught to love the other side that you got drafted to fight against. 12 or 18, just children in a man and woman's world.
