kings that rule can you see
sit in the thrown with iron fist
pounding on the arm causing fear
control chaos, by decree they are real
oh these prayers shall we try again
to the unseen man whom has no name
remember illusions are in his name
your delusions his pawn to play
he likes to plot to let it grow
diversions come in so many ways
he passes time you pass lifes way
disposition of the unseen king
it hides in shadows hides form you
It hides in shadow would you follow
if you ever saw the truth
lay me down to comfort me
where I go you will never see
what I am what I'll be...
where I'm at I'll feed this tree
no more thinking, no more pain
no more will eat the moment
tasting that is is for real
no more hopes, no more dreams,
no more anger of what will never be
no thoughts of empty days, no trying
all hail eternal night
no crying, or wonder to ponder
return where we all come from
In these moments nowhere to fade
passing moments, end of game
uninspired, ridiculed, so walk away
no where to go to, so long now
it's gone in memories so
they'll wash away from time
in these moments I let it go
can't take it with me- nowhere
in these moments it sinks on in
nothing to die for why would I live
in these moments no more to forgive
and so shallow senseless game
didn't want to join didn't want to play
whatever lies whomever kills
one who blesses, who helps a freind
kindest heart passion of soul
he who plunders who steals your gold
it's all the same one final end
rewards of heaven passed on to you
keeping the law in trend
feel inspired? are you in his game?
is your mind trapped, desire to pray
live it the way you want to-die
clear your path, your own truth-die
end the game the only one who plays-die
fade away days, righteous, days-die
he can never strike you down-lie
lie to question convictions
devotion is what has lead astray
he who jesters lives their fate untold
go on now and hang your head
clasp your hands, bleed out the dread
if it helps you sleep at night
grasp at straws, hold the spirit tight
go on now go hang your head
is this your life or something you do
to make your bed, rest on
hope it comforts you, sleep
feeling your soul is at ease
breathe, let it go, now just release
forgo his sanctity once you know
" it's all make believe " so...
still from the book sacred lies
truths untold right before your eyes
once walked a boy then was a man
before his birth, healing spread the land
kings bowed down aimed to please
so, brainwashing control would lead
empty words, fill, heaps and loads
of crap to spread like weeds
in spoken fears wrath to unfold
so follow faith bow down in prayer
to the no one who leads bow down
in your head make their creature real
final moments, not a sign, no regret
you never had to fall in line
final moments that fade away, where
you will be resting there you shall stay
no more weekends no holidays
can't see sunshine all fades away
no outstretched hand no big white gate
you won't look down on ones who stayed
not too hot not too cold nothing to feel
when your feeding the world.

we are all pawns in God's game - why would a loving God who teaches love allow suffering or give us "tests" - thus a question of his character; following someone who does things we are told not to do; mind-games; contradiction.
regret for past mistakes and/or opportunities missed following and doing the "right thing", a love lost, etc.
religion is a crutch for some to ease pain or justify themselves. it may be reason to exist/live. it is also a way for leaders to justify themselves and keep people in line/control.
if you don't follow those truths and make your own way, you can get what you want without having to answer to anyone or give control to something/someone who may not exist.
Is that kinda in line with it? Am I missing more to it? I liked that you could read different things into this poem and take it different ways. You do have a gift with that.
we are all pawns in God's game - why would a loving God who teaches love allow suffering or give us "tests" - thus a question of his character; following someone who does things we are told not to do; mind-games; contradiction.
- freewill....God gave us free will, and essentially wanted us to make the decision to worship him. He put us here and wants us to idolize him. He gave us life so that we could live in awe of him.
religion is a crutch for some to ease pain or justify themselves. it may be reason to exist/live. it is also a way for leaders to justify themselves and keep people in line/control.

- this is one of my obvious points, sort of
I am not saying god is not real...I am not saying he is. I don't know, but I do believe that at minimum leaders have marred God's world in effort to control...to create a sense of fear in people, and have them see that there are even greater consequences for their actions than they themself can hand out.
God expects us to live our lives for him. I am having a hard time rememberring the exact line/passage, I will have to look it up later, but it states that gathering wood on sunday is a holy crime, that we should set sunday asside to focus on him.
Personally I don't believe in a god, there is just no way he would not strike more people down for protesting against him. He would see wrongdoings of the churches and stop them. While we do have free will, we do not have the right of sin within the places of worship.
This pieces has less to do with god, and more with freewill and abuse of powerThe only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

Oh but the world is divided and the stage is set for a great deciever to sit on the throne of the world and declare himself to be God. Believe in god? Don't believe?Don't know? The rich and powerfull in this world are dividing the human population in two. The world is taking sides. But we are cleverly fed an intricite, clever diet of t.v. and popular websites to dumb us down and numb us to the atrocities of world globalization. This great peice of writing pretty much speaks all my doubts about the modern world and the cosmos all together. As far as my fgirst reply ,depop, It was more in regards to what you wrote about your history in religion than the piece its'self.I took a walk so I could curse my ass for being dumb!!!

Ahh, I see what you mean by religion history, yeah. And like I said, if somebody wants to believe in god, that is great. I may be wrong. It is impressive to see people stand by their convictions. I alson know many people that religion has trully saved.
I really like how you stated the above. This is very close to what I was trying to write about. I never could have stated it that clearly though.
Much of my writing is based on this subject...at least 40% I would say.The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

I would have to agree with this. It is very scary to see this division. It is everywhere though - in our backyards, we see it everyday. We can see it in children and how they are being raised. I am an idealist and greatly out numbered but I will always believe that peace and love can exist if people make that effort to adopt it. I do think we can make a difference in our own little corner of the world by making a choice to be different than the norm and standing by that, even when it hurts. I tell you though, it is hard work, just what my kids are taught in school and on t.v., it is all about looking out for #1 and what a person can gain. It starts young and there is a great moral decline. People look to follow who can give them the most with the least effort on their part. It is all a very real danger that we walk right into. Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,

I should have quoted Walkerlast...something funny I caught the end of it and was meaning it more of a challenge. Even if you are north of here the general idea of human kind 'united we stand'. Glad to hear the outcome.K-The lost will do their best to get home, if they are loved. To our soldiers who have given what they had.0

Kinda the point I think, it is not united, but we choose where each one of us fall on that. Say "whatever, that is the way it is" or "I may not make much of a difference but I can still try".Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,

Can you step aside
Fuck it
You can let it go
You know
If you want
If you could
Know you will
No damn will
Systematic
Watch it fade
Let it go
In a moment
Just let it all subside
Bleeding souls
From finger tips
Fire’s breath
Brings with fear
Brings the angel’s grip
Step away
Let it all go
Lighten your grasp
Let it all drift
Step away now
Time to give in
Haunting horrors
Let them all in
Is this your life
Marionette
Crave the deity
Surrender purity
And get handled
Promised clarity
Oh what vanity
Ode to sacredity
Out with passion
Seems to green
Take up jealousy
What will that bring
Surrender purity
Don’t try so hard
Live more transparently
Is this your life
Puppet games
What a rag doll
End it all
Sacrificial flameThe only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!
