Soar to the moon
And while you're at it
Fly to the sky
The angels can see you better
with a wide open eye.
Of all the galaxies in the universe,
would you pick the one where your soul
can rest?
Would you lay with me under the auroras
and make heavenly love over
the rounded, orbed moons...
gliding in such frequent stares
as the stars
on a crisp winter night?
Would you sleep with me
next to a heavenly manger
of a dark,encompassing night?
Fly to the sky
the night is here to pass us by.

    We spent the summer
    In each others arms
    A Bottle of wine by the bay
    A few words and
    Cigarettes
    By the wayside of the hammock
    "I love you"
    I said
    "I don't know you"
    He quipped
    And I shed a tear.
    Trips to sing
    Lighting fires
    On the beach
    Stories of his childhood
    Parties full of people
    Kissing in the bathroom

    Movie posters
    Hanging on a wall
    In the bedroom
    His yellow house
    Bringing to life
    The fondest of times
    Until,

    Walking through
    higher than
    The Stars in the sky
    and I see poems
    and people and
    colors
    and a man in a van
    and I stop him and say
    Gotta light
    While he's lighting my cigarette
    the ashes fall to the ground
    He's opening his raincaot
    and I'm
    contemplating leaving
    staying
    so
    There's nowhere to go
    but home
    and I get into the car,
    High
    and I'm listening to The bEatles
    an Paul jumps into my head.
    And i think
    IF I WAS HIM,
    would I have jumped on the man
    in the dilapidated trenchcoat
    and gone for a ride?
    Most likely not.
    People are somewhat dangerous
    sometimes
    so
    I'll still stay high as the sky.

    Did the moon
    overcome its own shadow?
    The face of the moon
    seems covered
    by the reflections
    of a girl.
    Dark and fair
    In complexion
    her shadow
    meets the moon.
    He seems not to mind
    He usually
    stands alone.
    With his face and shadow
    in the background,
    the passing thought
    and mirrored image
    Have now become his friend.
    He has nothing but to do
    other than share

    For what does one owe the greatest of inspiration?
    You take me on journeys that I never know exisited,while
    You set my heart aflame with the passion exuberantly displayed
    In your colorful rhythm and words of thundering force
    To be projected through my mighty quill with grace and color.
    To what do I owe my muse?
    A life full of Earthly pleasures to be shared with the one of choice?

    skips a beat
    when I feel
    the thought of you
    enter the realm
    of my concious soul.
    I breathe a sigh of anxiousness
