Is NIN worth seeing live?

  • I'm going to see NIN live tonight in Brixton. Only thing is, I'm only a casual fan at best (I like what I've heard, but that's not much). I'm also fairly exhausted from a hard week at work. I'd rather be going out for dinner with my wife. I'm getting old. When I originally said yes to the ticket, I was excited. Now, I'm just 'yeah, OK, fine'.

What would you say to convince me I'll have a great time at the gig, despite making the tiring trip into London?

you should be kicked in the nads for having even thought of this question. Trent and the gang put on one of the best shows I have ever seen...

check out some youtube footage from the shows... or check out the visual effects for Eraser/right where you belong...fucking amazing

I went with my girlfriend, so we were up on the Balcony so that she could see. I got to see them from a different perspectives. My photos are here:

Most of them are a little too far away, but I'm pretty proud of this one:

Less than 3 weeks til the new album!!!

I am seriously more excited for this than I was for PJ's at this point last year.
The less you know, the more you believe.
  • I have no doubt NIN are more than worth seeing live, my friends seen them a few times now and absolutely loved every second of all their shows. We planned see them on this tour together, so, got tix to see 'em in Wolverhampton on the 12th March....

    .....they cancelled.....

..... at about 2pm, THAT afternoon....

    .....wankers.

Still, they're doing the gig on the 8th of August instead :)
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Yeah it sucks that they cancelled, but it would have sucked even more if they had played and Trent's voice sounded shit.
