we go thru this every fucking thread... you have no musical credibility on any level by thinking oasis "rule". your taste in music is a fucking disgrace. if you wanna sit and listen to whiney rock that goes nowhere, fine.. waste your time with it. even spend your money and time sitting their their awfully boring concerts. go for it. go to a real metal show and you'll see how rock is done, period. i'm ashamed of myself to be even acknowledging your opinion or even your presence on this board. make sure your litter sister gets her Good Charlotte and Blink 182 cds back when you're done w/ them

nirvana were a decent band, but they were never rock saviors. entirely OVERRATED

Mudvayne is a very talented band. Chad has probably one of the best voices in metal. he can hit the low growls to the high screams. listened to Severed on LD50 (i know the chorus is layered, but still.. great fucking voice), plus Ryan blows away any bass player in rock these days.. he's fucking amazing. listen to this song... i'm so glad they finally got rid of their makeup tho. http://youtube.com/watch?v=y3xVPhkzUPM

Those bands that you listen to are what is wrong with rock music nowadays. Those bands you name are average - really bad, lame, outdated, and terribly uncool. Metal nowadays is total crap, I guarantee that not one metal show nowadays can compare to the BRMC show that I just saw last week.

Lamb Of God.........one of the worst bands I have ever heard, if you think yelling and hitting guitar strings really fast counts as talent then you better get your brain checked. Bands like that are an embarassment to music, I cant even argue with somebody that listens to music that bad because all you can talk is nonsense.

like a band who is a fucking ripoff of the Beatles (oasis) arent a fucking embarrassment to music either.

you have no knowledge of music at all. period. take a second and actually listen to metal riffs, better then any band "rocking out" on an acoustic guitar. metal bands are probablly some of the most talented musicians these days.

Awesome... I Fucking Shot That! by the Beastie Boys is amazing. I'm pretty surprised it hadn't been mentioned yet.

  • Trust - Ani Difranco!!!!!! This dvd is absolutely amazing and the art through is beautiful! If this doesn't turn you into a fan, nothing will.

What a clown, what is so bad about doing covers........especially when those covers are better than the originals? Your taste in music is hideous, nobody who lists dvds by Mudvayne and Chevelle should be entitled to an opinion. The fact that you call Nirvana one of the most overrated bands of all time shows your ignorance, its silly to even argue the importance of Nirvana.
Nirvana IS overrated, in the literal sense of the word. An excellent band, but compared to others they are nowhere near deserving the recognition that they get.

EDIT: and for the record, you're wrong, AIC inplugged is better than Nirvana Unplugged (although it is still great)

Your definitely in the minority on that one.........that quote by Layne is stupid too.

    no its not... its good

lol, I think its rather funny and amusing.

wtf? AiC unplugged was 100000x's better the Nirvana.. atleast AiC played their own songs.

    EXACTLY!

Well... 5/13 were covers. Covers arn't bad in small doses. If i went to a unlpuggged show which are extrememly rare.. then i would want to hear the bands material in an acoustic form.
