Awesome... I Fucking Shot That! by the Beastie Boys is amazing. I'm pretty surprised it hadn't been mentioned yet.

  • Trust - Ani Difranco!!!!!! This dvd is absolutely amazing and the art through is beautiful! If this doesn't turn you into a fan, nothing will.

What a clown, what is so bad about doing covers........especially when those covers are better than the originals? Your taste in music is hideous, nobody who lists dvds by Mudvayne and Chevelle should be entitled to an opinion. The fact that you call Nirvana one of the most overrated bands of all time shows your ignorance, its silly to even argue the importance of Nirvana.
Nirvana IS overrated, in the literal sense of the word. An excellent band, but compared to others they are nowhere near deserving the recognition that they get.

EDIT: and for the record, you're wrong, AIC inplugged is better than Nirvana Unplugged (although it is still great)

Your definitely in the minority on that one.........that quote by Layne is stupid too.

    no its not... its good

lol, I think its rather funny and amusing.

    EXACTLY!

Well... 5/13 were covers. Covers arn't bad in small doses. If i went to a unlpuggged show which are extrememly rare.. then i would want to hear the bands material in an acoustic form.

Led Zeppelin Anthology is the greatest live DVD ever. Nothing else comes close. I haven't seen the Band of Gypsys DVD, but I have the cd and those shows were incredible.

RHCP Live at Slane is a great live DVD.

Very good...It took me a while to buy it, but I'm glad I did...solid DVD from start to finish.

Letters From a Porcupine - Blind Melon...great staple (had it on VHS too).

1st off both AIC Unplugged and Nirvana Unplugged were both amazing dvds/concerts. But I have personally always found Nirvana's to be better. Saying that my favourite dvds that i own are:
    Nirvana unplugged
nin - beside you in time
    pink floyd - Pulse
    AIC unplugged

Oh man, the Hendrix one is awesome. Short, but sweet, and kind of trippy. It's in Black and White, but the camera is creating all these crazy trails as it's moving back and forth. It's also got a pretty great documentary on there about Jimi as well.

Jimi - Blue Wild Angel (Live at the Isle of Wight) is awesome too. A lot of people would probably like it better than band of Gypsies, but I love the Filmore DVD best.

And yeah, that Zepelin is the shit. It just doesn't get any better than "Since I've Been Loving You" on that one. Simply awesome.
  • The Black Keys Live

Absolutely fantastic. Then again they are playing 10,000 times better live now, then they did in that dvd.
