    find his ebay store or user id make an ebay account and bid them all up and then walk out. and go into his store and mess with him. be like you wouldnt believe how much those records are going for on ebay. i saw (how many he listed) of them going for $2500. jeez i wish i could afford one being such a devote pj fan.

    the tenclub really needs to stop being so damn secretive about shit ans stop hyping shit up... because their fans are getting fucked in the process of their manufactured hype

    Exactly what I have been saying. They know that a huge market is going to exist for this kind of stuff, so why not at least try to satisfy that market. Otherwise you are the ones creating this situation. I would really be curious if anyone from the band or 10club would go on the record with their thoughts on this situation, since they have the most power to prevent it from happening.

    the first i heard of the release i thought i remember reading that it would be released in stores on the 29th... i dont remember anything about other websites... and i kindof thought there would be a difference with the 10C version and the store version... but from what ive heard they are the same exact thing... and it also seems there are alot of copies available all over the nation... people shouldve done their hw... ive never seen anything so widely available become so rapidly inflated

    The way that I read it information in the beginning was that it WAS going to be released in stores but that there was going to be a pre-sale at 10C for a limited edition version however that was only half right....

    it is in stores, also in limited quantities and the same version in the 10C pre-sale

    here in chicago.....

    i HAVE NOT FOUND ONE STORE that has it on the shelf yet.....NOT ONE...

    i would like ONE CHICAGO person to tell me if they have bought it yet....from a record store......


    ive talked to 15-20 record stores on the phone in the last week.....
    Take me piece by piece.....
    Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

    Can you imagine the fuckjob for the people who got shut out of the online sales and then thought "ok, ill just wait to get one from my valued local independant music store"? LOL, then to find out that these people are holding everyone at gunpoint as well?

    Is this all legal, really? I guess its their inventory, so I suppose they can set any price they want for it. Still, total garbage.

    has anyone informed 10C of whats going on here?? is there anything we can do?? this is literally making me sick to my stomach! Ed would be disgusted if he heard what is going on with his record... 10C should just pull all the copies from these stores and distribute them themselves... this definitely isnt a 10C problem tho for not pressing enough copies... this is a 10Clubber problem for all of us automatically buying into the hype and buying these items for investments instead of what theyre meant for (same goes for posters)

    I always thought there was like a pre determined price for things, that you couldnt go past. What the fuck do i know though ;)


    To sgossard:

    Im kind of lost when it comes to ten c. I cant figure out if this is just happening from the "scalper members" who just sign up, pay the fee, and try to sell everything triple fold OR if ten c even gives a shit. End of the day, they are still selling everything they need to. I wonder if it matters to whom?

    youre right... from a business stand point it shouldnt matter to them... they sell all their copies for the price they choose and then it is up to the new rightful owner of that album to do as he / she chooses... but that album's material is still owned by ed and i feel it should hold to ed's ethical standards... and 10club should be concerned with the treatment of their fans if theyre a decent fan club at all... then again there are so many fans these days that are complete scum so I wouldnt blame them for letting us fight amongst ourselves and create our own inflated problems!

    I talked to a local record store here in Milwaukee and they said they would have them next week (Jan. 29th), but would be selling them for $100 because they are on e-bay for $150. I have not seen the vinyl on the shelf as you are asking.
