All I have are the 2 Chicago shows...I was at those shows as well as the Milwaukee and Chicago Petty shows. It was such a nice surprise when they got back together! I've seen them around 20 times in the last 13 years...amazing band!0

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-120 -

Yes...It is actually a 24' x 30' shop. It has 14' ceilings and will have PJ top to bottom left to right. I already own almost 100 posters even though I only have 20 or so framed. They will all be up eventually. It is def a work in process!

Just a little FYI for people who want to frame posters but not use multiple mat's- framers have things called spacers that can be used to keep the poster off the glass. They're pretty much invisible and are pretty cheap.0

Only the first two are professionally framed, but the rest are temporarily self framed until I get the money to do them one at a time....and several posters are still in the tubes waiting the frames. The same guy does all my framing so if you need some done let me know, I will hook you up with him..

So here is the deal. Long story short, I am taking my posters that aren't framed to my folks this weekend and they are going to have them framed for me for Christmas. Of course I will know what they are and I will pick everything out. So after Christmas I should add on the following shows
Lexington 03'
East Troy 03
Nobelsville 03'
Columbus 03'
Hershey 03'
London 05'
Kitchener 05'
all of those will be with my ticket stubs, double, maybe triple matted, and uv protected glass.
I have my neocon set famed as a set, so I am going to frame the elephant from VFC with all the stubs and matted etc.
I'll post after Chrismas......might be one of the greatest presents ever!!!Cheers,
NEWAGEHIPPIE

So when you guys say "double/tripple matted" do you mean with the one(s) on top being smaller than the ones underneath, so that you can see multiple borders, or are they all the same size and just for the sake of keeping the poster farther from the glass?

this is triple-matted. not sure about the actual width of the mattes. but you get the idea.

I think that it is lifted 3 times? Not sure though."All the money you make will never buy back your soul" Bob Dylan

Another few questions: What about my signed & numbered poster? Is there a way to mat it without covering that up? Or should I bother getting it matted at all?
I want my posters to look good, but I also want to protect them. What exactly should I do beyond just getting a plain old frame? Is UV glass, and all that acid-free stuff and everything really necessary?
Thanks

PJ Habit wrote:The mat does not have to cover your poster. You get yourself some hinging tape(its very light & won't damage poster)& tack the top of your poster to the mat(both on the back were it can't be seen), then the poster will just "hang" from the mat
