Fairly similar setlist, only shorter. No new songs, and the one song encore was Spoonman. Black Hole Sun was done full band and the accoustic stuff....Hide Your Love Away, Billie Jean, Like A Stone, Doesn't Remind Me, etc...was the highlight for me.

All in all he sounds great as did the band, but the show was far too short.

I actually thought the show was just the right length. The show was way better than I expected so I left satisfied. Everyone around me in GA were really into it. The atmosphere could have been a lot cooler in a smaller club like Barrymore's I guess.

I guess so...it just seemed obvious that Cornell was cutting it short for one reason or another.

At the end of the last song from the 1st set, the guitar tech was coming out to bring the band new guitars, and looked surprised when the band was leaving the stage. And obviously based on previous setlists the encore was cut way down.

But i do agree with you that the show would have been much better in a club.

I saw a copy of the setlist, and there were supposed to be more songs so that does suck. I agree. I guess we'll never know. Could have been the crowd, but he did say some nice things about Ottawa so I don't know. Curfew maybe?

i didnt know cornell ever had that in him even at SG's best... he might actually be able to do something similarly powerful with his voice as good as it is now

People have been talking about his much improved voice a lot. While I agree, I don't think he's anywhere near getting back to this level...now or ever.

well at least in the studio he could come close with some clever editing... if scott weilands voice can sound as shitty as it does live and he can still make stellar studio work theres no reason chris cant do the same with a great live voice
