Led Zeppelin reunion show

it seems like Kashmir was the only song they played in it's original key. was it? from everything else I've heard, it all seemed needlessly brought down a few keys to better suit Plant's voice. the songs probably didn't need THAT much adapting.0

Was there an opening band?If I could, think I would give in.0

Close to 2000 seeders. This thing is flying."You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I thought he meant the size of a file.0

What a fantastic gig. It didn't feel quite right without John, but they did a great job. I'd say that only about 5 or 6 songs were tuned down. I reckon Plant could have sung a few of them in the original key but didn't want to risk the possibility of his voice giving out. He sang a great note in Since I've Been Loving You.0

Does anyone else know where I can get a copy? I can't sign up to Dimetorrents because they are over the limit.

Listening to the whole boot, I'm sorry but I have to say, I'm frankly underwhelmed, but a better quality recording may well change my view.0

that kashmir clip is not much different to knebworth really. Can't wait for a DVD of this will be epic. I thought they did so well for their years and time apart. Jason isnt as good as John but who is it's unfair comparison.I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

Around 600mb. Its in FLAC, so download Foobar to play it. Its decent quality, guitar is a bit low in the mix though, and its a bit echoey!"...though my problems are meaningless....that don't make them go away...."0

Thanks, I think I've got some megaupload links but i thought 600 was a little on the small side. If they work I'll post where I found em here.edved82 wrote:Around 600mb. Was up over 3000 last night when I jumped on. Got the whole thing d/l in about 25 minutes, lol.
Decent quality, might sound a little boomy, but who can complain when it's THIS show.

I'm listening to the bootleg now. not bad for an audience recording. Plant sounds GREAT. they should do two huge 10 night stands in Earl's Court in London and Madison Square Garden. it would only be a month or two of Robert's precious time. Page has said he's down. but even if it's only this one-off reunion, it's still pretty cool.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Yesterday's (actually it was probably Tuesday's) Irish Sun newspaper was able to exclusively reveal that Led Zeppelin were coming back with a world tour kicking off in May. Also that they were eyeing up MSG as the opening venue for the tour and that an Irish show most likely at Slane Castle would be included...Ledbetterman10 wrote:I'm listening to the bootleg now. not bad for an audience recording. Dunno how reliable that is (it's not I'd say), but they were also able to exclusively reveal some young ones breasts on page 3 which I found equally as interesting... uʍop ǝpısdn ǝɹ,ǝʍ 'punoɹ ʎɐʍ ɹǝɥʇo ǝɥʇ ןןɐ s,ʇı0 uʍop ǝpısdn ǝɹ,ǝʍ 'punoɹ ʎɐʍ ɹǝɥʇo ǝɥʇ ןןɐ s,ʇı0

It'd be tough for Zep to tour in May when Plant and Krauss are touring at the same time:
 http://www.robertplantalisonkrauss.com/site.php?content=tour
Anyway, my fiancee and I flew from Chicago to London for the weekend for the show and the whole event was effing spectacular. For those who asked about the openers, they were:
 - A conglomeration of guys from Yes and ELP (i.e., Chris Squire, Alan White, Keith Emerson)
 - Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings (feat. Paolo Nutini (Mess Around, Boom Boom), Maggie Bell (Do Right Woman Do Right Man), Alvin Lee, and Paul Rodgers (All Right Now, Seagull))
 - Foreigner (I Want to Know What Love Is (ugh))
The place was only half-full for the openers, but was packed to the gills for Zep. From the opening beats of Good Times Bad Times to the closing fills of Rock and Roll, they were unbelievable and exceeded my wildest expectations (even as an ardent collector of Zep shows). I was worried that it was just the rush of being at the show of the century, and that after flying home and getting back into the routine, the recordings ultimately would prove me wrong. But they've only gotten me more excited about having seen Led Zeppelin on a good night. A really good night.
