I have no words - I cannot begin to tell people how unbelievable this show was!!
I scored the extra ticket of one of my PJ buddies who won a pair in the ballot (Ian you are THE man!!).
My personal highlights were Trampled Under Foot, Kashmir, Misty Mountain Hop and Whole Lotta Love.
I wasn't able to camp out for the barrier but I did manage to get to the second row. I took some pics in the brief moments that I wasn't completely rockin out - here they are:
We looked around briefly mid show and found Liam Gallagher behind us - we were very tempted to say "Watch & Learn mate" but we had better things to do!!
man u got ur christmas presant early u are so lucky i bet it was so amazing
They played a clip from last night on Opie and Anthony this morning and WOW they sounded horrible last night. Sure everyone gave it rave reviews because it's Led and they were probably in awe but still......if it sounds like shit you really can't kid yourself for long after that it was a good show. Imagine if PJ broke up for 25+ years and came back and Ed's voice was completly gone and he couldn't get through 15 songs, I would be quite pissed.

That's some funny ass shit you posted!!! Completely false - but very funny!
From all the videos and recordings I have heard from the show - it was nothing short of spectacular!! The band was as tight as they ever were when John was still alive and Plant sounded amazing.
from the clips that ive seen it sounded great last night - sure plants voice isnt what it once was but whos is? That will happen with time . . . .page hasnt lost one bit and for the time they spent apart i thought the band as a whole were incredibly tight.
it seems like Kashmir was the only song they played in it's original key. was it? from everything else I've heard, it all seemed needlessly brought down a few keys to better suit Plant's voice. the songs probably didn't need THAT much adapting.
What a fantastic gig. It didn't feel quite right without John, but they did a great job. I'd say that only about 5 or 6 songs were tuned down. I reckon Plant could have sung a few of them in the original key but didn't want to risk the possibility of his voice giving out. He sang a great note in Since I've Been Loving You.
Does anyone else know where I can get a copy? I can't sign up to Dimetorrents because they are over the limit.
I want to listen to the show really bad.

Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river
that kashmir clip is not much different to knebworth really. Can't wait for a DVD of this will be epic. I thought they did so well for their years and time apart. Jason isnt as good as John but who is it's unfair comparison.
I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

I'm listening to the bootleg now. not bad for an audience recording. Plant sounds GREAT. they should do two huge 10 night stands in Earl's Court in London and Madison Square Garden. it would only be a month or two of Robert's precious time. Page has said he's down. but even if it's only this one-off reunion, it's still pretty cool.

Yesterday's (actually it was probably Tuesday's) Irish Sun newspaper was able to exclusively reveal that Led Zeppelin were coming back with a world tour kicking off in May. Also that they were eyeing up MSG as the opening venue for the tour and that an Irish show most likely at Slane Castle would be included...
Dunno how reliable that is (it's not I'd say), but they were also able to exclusively reveal some young ones breasts on page 3 which I found equally as interesting...
Anyway, my fiancee and I flew from Chicago to London for the weekend for the show and the whole event was effing spectacular. For those who asked about the openers, they were:
- A conglomeration of guys from Yes and ELP (i.e., Chris Squire, Alan White, Keith Emerson)
- Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings (feat. Paolo Nutini (Mess Around, Boom Boom), Maggie Bell (Do Right Woman Do Right Man), Alvin Lee, and Paul Rodgers (All Right Now, Seagull))
- Foreigner (I Want to Know What Love Is (ugh))
The place was only half-full for the openers, but was packed to the gills for Zep. From the opening beats of Good Times Bad Times to the closing fills of Rock and Roll, they were unbelievable and exceeded my wildest expectations (even as an ardent collector of Zep shows). I was worried that it was just the rush of being at the show of the century, and that after flying home and getting back into the routine, the recordings ultimately would prove me wrong. But they've only gotten me more excited about having seen Led Zeppelin on a good night. A really good night.

Was up over 3000 last night when I jumped on. Got the whole thing d/l in about 25 minutes, lol.
Decent quality, might sound a little boomy, but who can complain when it's THIS show.
Great first torrent for that guy over at dime.
