Let's take a minute here and talk about Stone's AMAZING solos, which I think people hardly pay attention to

I don't think people don't talk enough about the solos he wrote for PJ. Sure, most of these solos he written, like Even Flow, Thin Air, Of the Girl, etc. he gave to Mike (which is cool on his part!!) But also, we have to remember the beginning solo for Alive!! :eek: yeah sure it is repeative, but it is fuckin' catchy!! You know at that instant, it is Pearl Jam!!!

Whenever Stone plays a solo, like Do the Evolution, he makes people notice that he is in charge of this song!! He plays with such rawness and so much energy during his spotlight. You know he puts all his heart and soul into it each night, and you can't get sick and tired of this solo. Anyone who has seen this song live, you know what I am talking about!!

So give props to Stone, yeah he is cool and I am a chick, but whatever, you could get away with that on the Mike thread too.

Ain't NUTHIN' wrong with Stoney love! He doesn't get enough of it as we speak on this board. For crying outloud, he is one of the founding fathers of Pearl Jam, w/o him and Jeff, there would be NO PJ! Remember that!!;)
