The Who in '73 must have been incredible. One of my biggest regrets in music was never seeing Keith Moon live, had a chance to see them at Charlton in 1976, but my mum wouldn't let me go!!0

Aside from PJ:
Janes Addiction - 1988 in L.A. (I would say right as they were beginning to take off)
Elton John - 1989 in London (Wembley)
The Who - 1989 in Birmingham, England ('The Kids are alright') Pete lost a finger tip that night...
Yes - 1991 in Seattle (25th anniversary tour)
Dead Can Dance - 2005 in Seattle (at the Paramount) - Never thought I would ever get the chance to see them. It was amazing!
Mojo"A consistently good band works all the different elements well. A song has to appeal sentimentally, intellectually, physically, viscerally, and dig deep down into your soul and suck you into it. And after that, of course, it'd be a matter of taste." ~ Kim Thayil from Soundgarden0 -
the white stripes ('02, '03, '05, '07)
nine inch nails ('94, '95, '00, '05)
bob dylan ('01)
social distortion ('02)
rem ('03)
honorable mention: neil finn, pixies, the who, the stooges, sleater kinney, queens of the stone ageCommon sense is not so common.0
