Sirius channel 24 is switching to a 90's alternative rock channel tomorrow. I think its going to be called Frequency 24. My friend got an email and it said they would be playing a lot of PJ Nirvana, Soundgarden, etc etc etc. Should be pretty cool.

Sweet... if I listened to the radio at all outside of work I'd totally get Sirius.

The schmucks at Sirius must have figured out that all of their employees subscribe to XM and already listen to LUCY. I know I prefer XM after having both, but at least now there is a one reason not to bash Sirius so much.

  • I got a sirius email about that this morning....yippee! I sent them a request for a PJ station a couple of weeks ago. Must've been partially my influence. :D

I'm there. One more great reason to have three Sirius hook-ups.

    http://www.sirius.com. Satellite Radio.

Just got it hooked up in the car and love it. No more commercials or blabbing DJs. IMO, radio in the Philly area has sucked (unless you are into the whole R&B and Hip Hop thing).

Yeah, we all haven't heard enough alternative music in our lives.
  • I love sirius 20 all weekend... hearing Tremor Christ was AMAZING.

If you don't have sirius, it's definately time to get it.
Things change. They wont change unless you make them. The best way to change something you don't like, is to change yourself. So if you feel like you have a piece of duct tape on your mouth and you can't escape, take it off, speak up, speak your mind, shout it out, let 'em hear ya! -EV
  • thank you. :)
  • been listening to it since it was updated into the system all morning.....channel is named ' Lithium 24 '
" Well, we drove by a few other names and decided to keep moving until we could find one that we could make ourselves at home in. And it was...I think the name's open to interpretation...even though the real story is the fact that my great grandma was married to an indian chief and... Actually I don't know if he was a chief... Yeah, actually he was demoted. He was a chief for a while and then... When he moved into like white society, he was no longer ordained...but they also...like the ultimate combining of their cultures was the fact that like my great grandma made this jam that was passed down for generations but then she added his end of it by adding, like peyote and hallucenogenics and it was this kind of hallucenogenic jam..."-EV
