That said, I would still like to hear Deep

What would be really cool if having a total of 18 big signs (I hope I counted that right) with one letter on each sign spelling "ALL THOSE YESTERDAYS" ... an entire row on each side of the floor could hold up on letter each spelling out the song title. :ugeek:

Aren't sign campaigns reserved for songs that have hardly been played, EVER?

Deeps big return was in 03 far as I'm concerned.

I might bring a pussy sign instead.

    Ah...Here we go again.

Honestley, is there is anything more annoying than standing behind some stupid asshole holding up a giant sign?

If you want your song, throw a fucking quarter in the jukebox.

Leave your goddamn signs at home and just enjoy the show.

I'm sure the boys are more than capable of picking what songs to play.

Honestly, yeah there is. Alotta things. I'd much prefer people holding up some signs while we're waiting for PJ to come back from their break.

I ask b/c I dunno, but have signs at PJ shows ever gotten in somebody's view at show when somethin was actually goin on? I think it's usually some pretty hardcore fans holdin signs, so I would imagine they're quick to let Ed see the signs, then pull them down.

    Just bring them!

If you dont let people holding big signs just ask them to take it down? (i know you shouldn't hae to really but meh, its not like they are all over the place). Also if you didn't want to hold the sign up just bring it up in between songs or at the encore breaks or something. Unless your front row you can put it infront of the railing ;p
  • Don't get me wrong. I would like to hear Deep again but it does not deserve a sign.

It's all over this forum, but I'll say it again. No Way is far more deserving of our attention as a community. They've only played it 3 frickin' times! It's been almost 11 years. During that span Deep has been played 10 times. There are a lot of lucky ones out there who have already heard Deep. I might be jaded because I've heard it twice somewhat recently. (Alpine Valley and MSG 2003)

Besides I've got a feeling that these shows before the new album drops will be a little bit more Ten heavy than shows typically are. Just because of the re-release and ten-themed newsletter etc. So there is a much, much greater chance that they are going to play Deep anyway.

Obviously you've never been behind some worthless dickbag holding up a giant sign for an entire concert.

I guess I'm still bitter about the buffoonery that's been going on at recent Springsteen shows.

    The signs are just idiotic!!!
People are seated like in the 3rd level of the goddamn arena and they are holding up fucking signs.

Besides...is there really a point to holding up a sign with a song request on it... DURING AN ENCORE?
The band is not even on stage, and therefore will not see your sign -or play your song for that matter-

    I don't know...do what you want.
It just seems kind of pointless to me.

Hearing Deep in Champaign in '03 was amazing. The two songs off Ten I haven't heard live are Garden and Oceans, so I would love either of those.

No offence... Please don't bring any signs. No part of holding up a sign passes the Golden Rule test. I think the sentiment has been made rather strongly already so I'll just leave it as being extremely rude to everyone behind you when they are held up. Yes, even between songs.

Thanks, glad you are on the same page as me and a few others, the rest rather hold up a sign that says pussy. They must not get enough at home or it is to big for them to fit.
