just remember what comatose sounded like when it was "crapshoot rapture". by the time they tour, it'll sound great. and it sounded a lot better than comatose ever did in my opinion.
I was not very impressed after watching it on TV, but the lyrics (which are now on this board) helped a great deal. Not Eddie's finest performance, but I do like the song.
I'm sure I'll like the studio version of this song, but Ed either needs to rise to the occasion or put some of the real hard rockers away at concerts. He's been failing to "hit it" on the rockers for a little while now. :(
Good god they KILLED IT tonight! Haven't seen them live since July '06 and man that got me sooo pumped for at least Outside Lands if not a few more dates in CA this fall.
I agree with the shakiness of Ed's voice...the sad reality is, our favorite frontman's not gonna be doing his thing when he gets to be Mick Jagger's age. The cigarette smoke takes its toll, his voice isn't gonna get any smoother. Loved the vibe of the song, though. WAY better 1st single than Worldwide Suicide, by a long shot.
Back Spacer? Lame album name at best, especially if it's referring to computers or something of the sort. couldn't tell what the album art was, either. Looked like the guy from "The Scream" painting or something.
I think that all of the negative comments about this first song are simply crap! I think it's a great song. I must admit that I usually have to hear a song more than twice in order to really get a feel for it, but I really thought it was a rocking song. So stop being so negative and talking crap about Eddie's voice and his body and hair... have you not realized that Eddie will age, and he will not look like the twenty something or thirty something we all adore and fell for?? Everyone has to age. He will always look awesome to me, always!!

I love the album name and the cover looks super fun.
The song has great energy and the guys look pumped to be playing it. Ed's vocals were a bit rusty but that's to be expected, and his mic was turned down too much anyway.
I imagine the studio version will totally kick my ass.
Overall, I'm pumped!

Oh,if anyone can take a screenshot where Conan shows us the album cover that would be great. I want to send it to my girlfriend while she's at work so she can see!

I thought that the soud sucked and Ed's vocals were turned way down. Overall though, I really liked the melody and energy and am looking forward to hearing the studio version.
Conan comes on in a about an hour and a half here in Australia!! WOOP WOOP!! I'm interested to see if the sound is any better on the TV. Liking the song already!
I loved the style and I am very excited for this album.
quick pick i took of the artwork:
The cover is clearly for the "Get Some" single. Look at the number of letters in the title.
It was instantly catchy and after just hearing it once I was humming it over and over (and unable to fall asleep!)
I hope it is released somewhere soon for us to enjoy again!
oh Debbie please. You're bustin my balls here Debbie
Although i do agree Eddie looked like he was preggers with a bucket of chicken.
I'm also pretty sure Ed could have taken a crap on stage, walked off and people on here would say it was amazing...
It was probably a good thing Ed was turned down so much. If those horriffic vocals were any louder it would have been really rough!
people are goint to speak their mind if they think the song i weak or if they like it.. so far a lot of different opinions so to say everyone is just going to like it because it's new PJ is untrue.
I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

Back Spacer......odd name for an album!
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.

I thought thr album cover looked like a Dinosaur J.R type cover - was it a cartoon picture?

It's not the FULL album cover, but it could be a part of it...at least based on his exact quote on that site
