Sure is. He didn't even get a penalty. It was just a hard hit. Felt like McCarty was back on the ice!

Game 7 tonite! GO WINGS!! I sure do love this sport!

That's the goofy thing about hockey ... if that was a basketball game, the Red Wings would have won 133 - 89.

I really don't understand what the deal is with Babcock. Does he not want to come back? Do the Red Wings not want him back? Seems crazy that they would let him become a free agent...

No he'd rather go kill his career in Toronto I guess?

^^^ I hear ya. Babcock was quoted - if they like me they'll keep me. I've heard talk of him looking @ becoming a gm with a Canadian team = more money. You would think a love for a sport and your team/family/job that money wouldn't drive you.

I don't think he is that stupid. I could potentially see him taking a stab at St Louis if they make an offer.

Here is the situation. The owner has shitloads of money (especially since he fleeced a bankrupt city to finance his new stadium). So there is no way in hell it can come down to a money issue.

So I can only seeing him going somewhere where he can win. Detroit offers a better situation that most open jobs out there.

chats going on about TO and Edmonton. i think he should stay in Detroit because to me he is a Wing for life. Cant see no one else behind the bench at all.

oh yeah one more thing... get rid of smith.

Some dipshit Red Wings fan tried to set a giant Lighting flag on fire as it was being passed around by the crowd.

Bob McKenzie of TSN thinks the OIlers are the most likely location for Babcock, if he should leave Detroit, that is.
