    It is odd to so much youth on the ice. They did push the pace ... Although they did put Howie in a few rough spots.

    Odd as it is, I think the rash of injuries this year has made the Wings a much stronger team.

    I've seen it replayed about 25 times and each time my jaw drops - he is a wizard! Just amazing! I also agree that it helped to get so many of the young guys experience this year. That's what I love about hockey - just make the playoffs and see what happens!

    Interesting to see both styles of play operate with success in separate games. Wings shot themselves in the foot twice early on.

I remember as a kid watching the Rhode Island Reds play the Russian national team in Providence and squid and octopus rained down from the stands but that was to protest the Russians violating the US 200 mile fishing limit.
