Um...if you are too drunk to walk the 0.66 miles you might not make it through the show:) + traffic around the venue is going to be a nightmare. It's Friday during rush hour on the first day of the EX. The Lakeshore & G expressway will be at a stand still. You are better off walking

The pub is about a 10-15 minute street car ride (5 min in cab ) down King St. from downtown. The venue is a 10 minute walk from the pub. It's a nice walk. It's through exhibition place. http://www.toronto.ca/exhibitionplace/

What are some must-see sights/things to do between my hotel at Gerrard and Yonge St and the Brazen Head Pub?

Will check in and then walk to Brazen Head, but hoped to have lunch, some drinks, see some sights, in between.

Also, is there a festival or fair or something going on that day? I heard something about our show ticket gaining us admission?

I'd say walk South on Yonge St. to Queen St. and start heading west until you have to detour to get to the Brazen Head. Queen has a lot of cool shops (including quite a few record stores) and great people watching!

The Ex will be opening that night. It's an annual fair thingy that's been going on for over a hundred years for 2 weeks a year. You can get in for free with your PJ ticket.

Do you know if your concert ticket allows you in and out privileges with the EX? So if I pick up my PJ tickets in the morning can I go into the EX in the afternoon, leave go to the pre party and come back for the show at night?

Just finished the school year today and the girls in my class collected 200 bucks to donate to the whiteribbon fundraiser the Friday of the August 21st show. I had only mentioned it once, so I thought that was pretty cool for a bunch of 13 year olds.................can't wait for August!!

See for me the avatar is symbolic of the wager money I make off of Leaf fans in our companies TO office during the head to head Canuck Leaf match ups. SO the Laughs in essence are putting food on my table!

unfortunately they won't be as we live too far away, but they are into PJ. I teach instrumental music and with our orchestra band we played Black, Indifference, and Release this year.....pretty fun stuff!!
