I joined 10C on Monday, and like the rest of you, was kept in the dark time wise as to when they went on sale.

    7am- No luck.

I tried again then from 9 until about 10:30, when I got through, and subsequently got my confirmation email.

It seems like I'm one of the few to just join 10C and get seats so I'll consider myself lucky if I'm not sitting behind the stage.

Gonna be a long 3 1/2 months now.

On August 23rd, it will be exactly 3 years and a month since I last saw Pearl Jam. What a happy Monday it was for me! Yeah I was hoping for anywhere near buy by except for The United Center (worst indoor venue for concerts IMO)but I'm just happy as hell to get to see them! Woo Hoo!!!!
apparently you've never been to wrigley field or the allstate arena

I think Allstate Arena sounds better than the United Center, always have. I've probably seen more concerts at Allstate than the UC but it doesn't really matter. United Center is closer to my house so thats a big plus. 45 minutes to the UC. Sometimes up to 2 1/2 hours to Allstate. Have yet to see a concert at Wrigley.
the acoustics at wrigley are horrible. very muddy.
nice place to see the cubs lose though.

rosemont's worse. the wood roof dosent help sound travel well.

yeah, the uc is bigger, and sound can get lost in the rafters, but a lot of bands seem to like it.

I got my first ever TC tix for the Chicago show. Can some of you vets give me an idea of what the WORST ticket situation will be. My number is in the 420's so I am not expecting much but will I at least be on the lower level?

    Thanks in advance

Good for you and cool of you to join. Timing is key...and off to a fine start nabbing a pair to what good really be a killer show. You more than likely will not end up behind the stage. You may get good seats on the "wings". Mid-way up possibly. Not to sound like a d*ck, but I had no clue there were problems with the site at all until I read your posts just now. I literally got an email on my black berry that said "Pearl Jam...Chicago". So, I logged on and click on tickets, and bought a pair. That quick...I even chuckled. Then two minutes later my wife calls and asks if we could go. "Ah, yeah I'll see what I can do" ;)

Trust me when I say I have been dogged before. Failing victim to the blank screen blues...been through those dark days a time or two. Never a good ride, ticketbastard, ebay, stub hub, all dodgy crap. I wish one day there will be tix for all 10C members that need one. Then we'll backfill with the "others" to pay home team. Peace!

Kind of tough to gauge nowadays. I would expect lower level with you should ended up on the side back towards the bowl. You'll have a good view I bet.

I'm with you on the timing. I go an email on my blackberry, went on, pulled out my credit card and was done - 2 tickets to toronto. maybe we got the email earlier or something cuz I haven't got a clue what everyone is complaining about...

Maybe this has already been answered... but why didn't I get an e-mail about these two shows from Ten Club? I've been an active member for 11+ years, always renew on time every year, yada yada yada.

I'm not complaining at all because more than likely a trip to Chicago wasn't even in our budget this year but... I just want to know where my e-mail was.

no one knows. I still haven't received an email as well. However some people speculate that it's a proifle preference thing (unchecked "get news emails"). I found mine to be unchecked... maybe it was a mistake when they "updated" the webisite, or maybe i did it without thinking (pretty sure not, but possible).

    check that in your profile.

I'm going to both Toronto and Chicago. I picked up a single for Toronto in the Ticketmaster presale this morning. I got my Chicago tickets through Ten Club. Anyone else doing both shows?

I joined in on the action way too late yesterday. I heard about the show announcement on the radio, and joined TC the minute I got home. I think they should add another date for slowpokes such as myself. Wish me luck with ticketmaster, and I'll be with ya in Toronto. :) I'll know better next time!

the answer you get to that question will depend on the mood of the people reading, with the 2 possible options being:

    1) there's 100 posts in 53 threads that already answer that question
    2) it goes by seniority. what's your member number? if you don't know your member number, see item one above.

    :-)

generally, high member (375,xxx) and above can probably get equally good seats if you got in real early on the public sale. There's one guy going who has 5,xxx... that guy gets to sit on eddie's lap. I'm 214,xxx and i was almost all the way back on the floor for MSG II.

    hope this helps a bit?

well, I found out PJ was going to be in Toronto the last day of a conference i'm going to be at that we're driving 16 hrs for. Of course I find out that they are playing there the same day the presale starts. So I was hitchin a ride up there for the conference so had to check to see if we could stay an extra night so I could go to the show. Well by the time I find out it would be alright to stay another night 10c is sold out, I then miss the Edge presale b/c I had to take a final exam for school, then I try today right as the ticketmaster sale starts, and every seat is sold. I'm not pissed I guess, just disappointed. I've been a member a few years now and have seen them once but had poor seats. Here was an awesome chance, but luck just wasn't on my side. Well, maybe another time I guess.

just a reminder for those going to the Toronto show - it's the first day of the EX - (canadian national exhibiton) meaning parking will be hard to get and expensive - and the public transit will also be swamped - so plan an early arrival and enjoy the fair - it's HUGE - there's a craft and arts building, food building (YUMMY), animal shows, casino, rides and games - and you're not even in ontario place yet

I joined the 10C this week and bought tickets for the 8/24 Chicago show on Thursday. I am a little concerned that being a brand new member that I didn't get decent seats from the 10C. Would I be better off trying my luck with TM? I am not sure if the worst 10C seats are better than the best TM seats.
