Does anyone know what time tomorrow tickets go on sale for members who just joined?
It just says on the 6th, so I'd like to to know if this means at midnight, or more likely 9 or 10 A.M.
Any info would be helpful.
And for everyone complaining about tickets, just be grateful they're touring and putting out new music. My 10C membership has a 432 in front of it, so I'll be happy to be inside the venue.
Heard about the Chicago show on the radio at work. Got my tickets at at 4:30 Chicago time, still not sold out. Strange way of doing things. Would have loved to see Alpine over the United Center, but fuck it, its a Pearl Jam show.
I'm with ya...still hopin for Alpine or even Xcel in the Cities. Better than the United Center...damn they have to find a different Chi-town venue... :roll:

what tix you want. Toronto appears sold out for 10c... new members were only getting tix if they were avail. chi looks open still, i'd expect 9 or 10 am PST... but u never know. Someone said they had just renewed and the tix were available (but the guy didn't say how long he'd been lapsed for, if it was less than 30 days, he got the grace period and it wasn't like he was gone etc.etc).
so, in short, Toronto doesn't appear to make a diff, and otherwise I don't know. :-)
I got a pair for Chicago at 7:40 est with no problems, shocked actually that tickets were still available. This will be my first visit to Chicago outside of changing planes, so I am excited to check it out and hopefully catch a Cubs game on the Tuesday after the show.
white sox play the afternoon of the show. you can take the green line from the sox game straight to the UC(only a short walk from the ashland stop).

On August 23rd, it will be exactly 3 years and a month since I last saw Pearl Jam. What a happy Monday it was for me! Yeah I was hoping for anywhere near buy by except for The United Center (worst indoor venue for concerts IMO)but I'm just happy as hell to get to see them! Woo Hoo!!!!

so i was out of town yesterdfay and didn't get my email as usual and bam, tickets for TO are sold out today. sigh. i now understand how it would be nice if they gave us a couple of days to get ready for the sale. 157xxx 10C # woulda made some solid seats. but bam, wasn't at the computer and 16 hours later sold out. sigh sigh.
anyways, ill find a way to go to the show, and it's a fun venue, but if someone has an extra 10c ticket and need a guest, i would love you forever with appreciation:) please let me konw if so.

I think Allstate Arena sounds better than the United Center, always have. I've probably seen more concerts at Allstate than the UC but it doesn't really matter. United Center is closer to my house so thats a big plus. 45 minutes to the UC. Sometimes up to 2 1/2 hours to Allstate. Have yet to see a concert at Wrigley.
I haven't been the UC in a long time for a concert...but last nights Dead Show sounded FANTASTIC! Plus I work right across from the Allstate, so getting there always makes it easy! Anyone been to the UC lately and can comment on the quality of sound? Personally I think it depends on the band or the crew or something...I've heard GREAT sound at Allstate, and horrible sound....you just never know what your gonna get!
I've been waiting on pins and needles for months waiting for this news!! Got tickets for both the Toronto and Chicago shows. One of the benefits of living exactly 4 hours away from both cities. I can't wait for August to get here.
Well just picked up two tickets to the Chicago show, I think I'm spending money I don't have at this point, I can't afford to be a PJ fan!
Whatever worth every penny and hour I'll have to spend earning those pennies over the next month.

I, for one, am stoked. This will be the first time I've gotten to see the guys since 2006. My wife and I have been on lock down with a 2 and 1 year old, and this Chicago show will be our 5 year anniversary (saw PJ in Kissimmee in '04 for honeymoon, AC in '05 for 1 year anniversary)...so the trend continues.

Need a little help here. Have been a fan forever, but just got around to signing up for the tenclub the other day. I wanted to get tickets to the Chicago show and although I realized I was too late to get first crack at the tickets I was under the impression I would be able to buy tickets starting today.
You must be an active member as of May 3, 2009 to qualify for the ticket pre-sale. Starting May 6th, any remaining tickets will become available to ALL active members regardless of membership sign up date. The ticket pre-sale will end on May 6th at 3pm Pacific Time.
It looks like tickets are still available, but when I go to buy them it says that since I was not a member before May 3 I am not eligilbe.

I guess being purposely vague and misleading lets everyone have the same chance of getting tickets. It doesn't say much about how they run a business but I digress.
I realized that it would be a long shot to get tickets through the ten club as I am sure there is limited tickets. But to see tickets available today and not be able to get them for some reason is a little bit disheartening.
I am echoing the same sentiments here - shame on me for only shilling out the 20 bones to be part of the fan club now I guess. Isn't the sixth of May the sixth of May at midnight?? Midnight where? Midnight PDT? Don't worry it wasn't - I woke my deada** up at 2am CDT to check, then at 5. Now at work and they're gone. What's my booby prize for $20? A chance to get tickets ahead of time....in the the next year....disappointing.
