So I shouldn't have got excited and e-mailed right away? Hahahaha
maaaybe not...but if they respond, keep me posted.. ;)
I just got a reply from the 10 Club. They said the following:

    Hi,

If you can see the tickets in your order history then you have the tickets.
A confirmation email will be sent at the end of the pre-sale after your
    credit card has been charged.

    Best,

What's the best hotel to stay in for this show? I see there's a Travelodge about a mile away on Kings Street West -- is that an easy walk, or highway?

it's sort of out of the way - if you're coming in just for the show and not checking out anything - then i would look for a good deal somewhere on the transit line and take transit down to the show as parking can be a bit of a nightmare ... otherwise - pick a hotel close to downtown as everything is pretty accessible by foot or transit ...

last year for the EV shows - lots of people used priceline and got some good deals ...

Okay Torontonians (Torontites? wtf I don't know), just so I'm clear, if I get a hotel in downtown Toronto is the amphitheater easily accessed by public transportation? I know it's been mentioned in this thread but I want to be 100% before I start pricelining.

    Thanks :D

If you stay somewhere right downtown its a pretty cheap cab ride or even the GO train if you are close to Union station, as it stops right in front of Exhibition Place (where the amphitheatre is).

I guess what i'm saying is that It shouldnt' be a problem getting to teh Venue from Downtown...haha..

I've done the same before and just e-mailed the 10C and they said it wasn't a problem.

    See you in August!

The Travelodge on King St. is fairly close to the venue. If you take the Bathurst (exhibition stadium) streetcar south it'll get you there.

i emailed them with my issue and they assured me its not a problem and that if the tickets appear in your order history you're good. So maybe this helps you too.

    yeah ...

look up Ontario Place which is where the Amphitheatre is. Union Station is easily gotten to by any downtown hotel. the streetcar is on a dedicated rail line so, traffic can't hold it up ...

edit: lol - they have a listing for molson amphitheatre as well ...

Yea, I just made a reservation there. It is 1.6 miles from the venue in downtown. Not too bad.

    Ok, I called them.

    They said not to worry.

Because the site crashed earlier, and that they are sending out more then just these emails, that everything is kinda bogged down.

We should still receive these emails, but we just have to be a little patient.

As long as they are in your Order History, you are GOING!! :)

If you are in Toronto, you are not far from any of the major venues.

Toronto is big, but it aint NY or Cali
