I'm not a fan of stouts but I finally got around to trying this one. It was pretty good.

It’s a great DIPA. I think anyone who says it’s overhyped is lying to themselves.

    It's good but not GREAT.

Great beers are coming out of Finback and Grimm though.  Those two brewers have been amazing the past few years!

I’d like to try both! I don’t think they distribute in the Midwest but I could be wrong. I need to look.

Joe you drink some good beer!  Does your local liquor stores have all of these or are you a traveling man?

I have a great beer distributor near my house, the top ranked grocery store for craft beer in New York state near my job, and I frequently go to breweries.  The only thing I can't get easily is Tree House, which I've got some from ebay by making low offers and hoping they get accepted.

Grimm is probably my 4th or 5th favorite brewery.  Finback is good but I find it somewhat lacking compared to other in NYC.

Brand new Mikkeller NYC at Citifield. 60 taps with a great selection. Highly recommended.

I'm a big fan of Keller.  Some of their stuff is pricey though.

Going to this beer fest at Soldier Field tomorrow.  Pretty nice lineup of breweries...should be a fun day.

Yeah, they have all been very good.  Foggy Geezer is awesome.

Yes it is. Something about those two seem to really get the girlfriend pretty liquored up easily. Not sure what that's about, but hey, I'll accept the cheap date.

Love the hand written label on the crowler. I don't know why, but for some reason, I like when places do that. Maybe it just feels less commercialized.

Agreed. Total mom and pop type place. Hung out with my high school buds tonight and we all brought a lot of local beers.

^ Damn bud. Quite a variety pack there. You have a favorite out of the bunch? How’s that spicy meat ball?
  • darwinstheorydarwinstheory Posts: 6,444
I like spicy stuff. I like beer. I just don't like spicy beer. Idunno

Same here.  I have zero interest in any sort of spicy beer that has jalapenos or other hot stuff in it.
