Not necessarily. It wouldn't surprise me if Philly is a one-off in 2009 for the northeast, a special show(s) because of the Spectrum closing down.

    Agreed.
I agree too. But I feel for people in the north east who have to decide on Monday if they are going to travel to Toronto and/or Chicago or wait it out for the potential Philly shows.

PJ will play the Spectrum before it is destroyed...

My wish is that PJ plays the Electric Factory...I would probably never go see another show after that because nothing else would compare. It is perhaps the best place to see a show in the greater Philly-NJ region.

I HOPE, they do play the SPECTRUM. I saw my first concert ther.

The Electric Factory is not that great. For a small venue, its one of my least favorite in the area. I like the Borgata and the Tower, better. I think the Filomre(was TLA), is better too.

I'm in NYC, but I'm definitely traveling to Chicago to see them. I've always wanted to go to Chicago and this will give me the best excuse to go. That being said, I also hope they do some shows on the East Coast this year, and also Seattle. I'm planning on taking another trip to Seattle and would love to see PJ in their hometown.

It'll come in the days ahead, no worries.

Did you catch the other concert announcement? About a half hour ago? I'm so PUMPED!

    CREED!!!

The interview was great, because as soon as Stapp and Tremonti were gone, the MMR crew began to rip into them. Love it.

The E-factory is the sketchiest venue I have ever been to. I hate that place, but go to see a band I like. I think the last time I was there I saw this white boy get his ass kicked by a black female security guard. I read on another message board that it started because she confiscated his weed and then she said he had to leave. Since the guy gave her his weed willingly he didn't understand why he would have to leave and insisted that if he had to leave she should give him back his weed. I know some of you think the guy was an idiot, but this woman went apeshit on him throwing him down stairs which was uncalled for.

Outside the venue I know of incidents of locals ripping tickets out of peoples pockets. I remember the first time I went there some guy charged us $10 to park on the street. I don't know if he worked there or not but he also threw in a joke for free. The only words I understood was "superman" and "pussy". When he finished we laughed, but were only laughing to be polite.

I like the Tower, but if I could pick a venue I would pick Penn's Peak. Best venue I have ever been too, but unfortunately way too small for Pearl Jam.

PERAL JAM is my favorite band, but they shouldn't be the LAST band to close the Spectrum. Though that would be nice. That should probably be The Dead(who's played ther the most), or Bruce Sprinsteen.
