anyone staying at the Hampton Inn??

it's the closest hotel to the venue...supposedly a 1 min walk..can the dude from Albany confirm this?

My wife and I are staying at the Hampton Inn. It is currently sold out. We booked it a few weeks ago right after the swine flu scare, which temporarily dropped the price $60 per for Monday night.

On a totally separate note (not that you guys care), but my wife and I just found out our unborn child (who will be rocking out in the womb at the show) is a boy. I am freakin psyched.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Yay! A Boy! That is so nice....

Bugs you are funny! I am here! I won't be here as much because I am starting a new job on Monday...at my old place I was on a computer in an office all day, so I checked this thing like every minute....My new job is not like that... 8-)

Congrats! I was 7 months pregnant in '03 when we saw PJ in Albany, our seats were high up, and it really wasn't too loud to handle at all! And now my daughter loves Eddie. :)

Just don't go have your wife go to Reverend Horton Heat show at 8 months along though. I couldn't stay long enough to see the Reverend because of the insanity. Baby did NOT like it.

Thanks for the advice. We were going to go to the Toronto PJ show, but we decided against it. Lindsay would have been about 34 weeks by then. Too close to take any chances, since Toronto is a 3-3.5 hour drive. The last time we saw PJ in Toronto we were 1st row Mike's side. There is no way we could beat those seats.
where u at that TO is only 3-3.5 hrs? Roch?

I work at Downstate CF..ever hear of it??...I think I need to get hurt on the job via an inmate...so I can take some time off LOL

That is in Fishkill, right? Some of my patients have made their way through there on the way back upstate. Most of my people are either from Five Points or Willard. Once in a while I will get someone from Auburn. I am not sure getting hurt on the job is a good way to get time off. NYS comp system sucks.

    FG, thanks for the congrats.

Did not make the Hartford show. I was a freshman in college. Went to class he day of the show, drove 3 hours to buff and then drove back to Ithaca in the AM to be at 9 am Bio class. Could not fit in another show, a bit of a time crunch.

Awesome. Buff 96 was my 3rd, I didn't get 10c tix (don't remember why), and they sold out in like 6 mins on TM, so I think I had seats in the parking lot, with an old black and white tv on closed circuit with mono sound (just kidding, nosebleeds, but the place had just opened like 2 weeks before or something). still rocked tho!
Roch 94 was the shit. right about the time (literally to about the day) that cobain killed himself. I think it went public the next day. Ed said at the end of Jeremy "he fucked up, living is your best revenge"... eerie knowing what happened next. I just posted this but they also opened with wash at that show. OMFG was that sick. totally dark stage and the most haunting ed voice maybe I've ever heard "ooooohhhh pleeeeasaseee let it rain today...". I d/l'd the buff 96 boot from that site about 2 weeks ago. ROCKS! (although IMHO, roch 94 was better).

was married in a church on the right hand side of main (332) as you come from the north... can't remember the name... trying hard not to actually. fucking google... it found it.... First United Methodist. We weren't methodist or even really all that church going, but our families would have disowned us if we didn't get married in a church. great reason to get married in a church if you ask me. ahhh, i digress.
