And with each passing day, the likelihood of any females showing up at this party gets lower and lower.

Buffalo '96, my first PJ concert. I had a ticket to Rochester '94 but could not make the show. I am still bitter about that. Where did you get married. The Inn on the Lake? It will be nice to meet you in Albany. Small world.
Awesome. Buff 96 was my 3rd, I didn't get 10c tix (don't remember why), and they sold out in like 6 mins on TM, so I think I had seats in the parking lot, with an old black and white tv on closed circuit with mono sound (just kidding, nosebleeds, but the place had just opened like 2 weeks before or something). still rocked tho!
Roch 94 was the shit. right about the time (literally to about the day) that cobain killed himself. I think it went public the next day. Ed said at the end of Jeremy "he fucked up, living is your best revenge"... eerie knowing what happened next. I just posted this but they also opened with wash at that show. OMFG was that sick. totally dark stage and the most haunting ed voice maybe I've ever heard "ooooohhhh pleeeeasaseee let it rain today...". I d/l'd the buff 96 boot from that site about 2 weeks ago. ROCKS! (although IMHO, roch 94 was better).

was married in a church on the right hand side of main (332) as you come from the north... can't remember the name... trying hard not to actually. fucking google... it found it.... First United Methodist. We weren't methodist or even really all that church going, but our families would have disowned us if we didn't get married in a church. great reason to get married in a church if you ask me. ahhh, i digress.

Sorry about that OFED. I was replying last night when I lost my wireless network, for some reason it only sent the quote and lost my message. I live about 2 miles from that church.

heh, no prob. figured it was somethin' like that.

super small world. I too am lookin forward to meeting you and your wife. Please put her mind at ease that we have a special section of the bar reserved for bugs and Calum. The room is padded and circular. We will tell them to "sit in the corner" and that will keep them occupied for hours.

you really have never been here.

here's my suggestion: get here JUST before the pre-party on monday. party your butt (PG-13 today) off at the after-party such that you need to sleep until JUST before the pre-party on Tuesday.

that plan ensures that I don't have to make sarcastic comments about how little there is to do during the day.

awe, that's really thoughtful of you, however, we need to keep anything out of the room that they could hurt themselves (or each other) with. do they make pots and pans out of Nerf?

    22. That's the TOTAL number of pages for ALL the other EV Pre-Party threads combined. There's a bunch of shows that don't even have threads.

I'm not gonna go all Obama Elitist here, but it appears to me that the Smallbany folk ROCK!!! Wooo Hoooo!!!!! Just over 3 weeks people. And (assuming Jeff is ok) it's just kicking off the '09 excitement. June 10th I'll focus my attention on the Toronto pre-party board. Currently LAME at 8 pages (no offense D, appreciate that you started one coz the rest of us are lazy).

Gonna be a blast. Just one thing left to say:

    Is it June 8th yet!?

no, you're not out of the loop. I'm trying to drum up some interest in the after party. A friend owns a bar on broadway called Red Square. Unfortunately, the economy has him closed on Monday/Tuesday nights. He said he'd be happy to open for us, but I'd have to guarantee at least 40 people. The first post I had on that hasn't gained any takers but one or two. Therefore, there's no "official" after-party yet (unless I'm out of the loop!!! :o ). If we can stir up the people, Red Square is a great place (it's really close to the Holiday Inn Express, and therefore not too far from the Palace as well as close to Jillians and the other hotels downtown).

I'm not stuck on picking this place, I just like it, and it's a friend etc. etc. No big either way.

I am up for a post-party, but I can't guarantee my wife will want to go out. It all depends on how she feels. So far the pregnancy has been good, but she gets tired easily. So we may or may not be there.
