Not a big find but got a 1991 christmas single at Easy street for 60 bucks. The cheapest I have ever seen it.

You can get those for 2 bucks from 10c.

Yeah, cleaning up on those singles were a highlight for sure. I got 95-current now. And trust me - they sound great. :) Life is way too short for shrink wrap.
I've got posters from every show I've been to which may not be collectors pieces, but I felt like they were great finds and mean a lot to me.

I'm not much of a collector... I just like collecting things that make me happy.

  • Found an old ticket stub stashed away in my basement. Saw Pj for 6 bucks back in '95.

  • I have the corduroy shirt that Eddie wore at the 1992 lollapalooza show in St. Louis. I got it from someone who was in some entertainment management. He got it from Eddie and was selling it on ebay about 9 years ago. I email him and told him I thought it was crazy that he wanted $1000 for it. I paid $300. Really cool!

Lolla.....summer months...St. Louis gets pretty hot..performing on stage mid day.....disgusting sweat...odor....you paid $300 for a grown man's soiled t-shirt? Do people act impressed when you show them that or do they cut to the chase and tell you how disgusting it is to your face instead of doing it behind your back as soon as you leave the room?

    Someone sounds jealous

LOL. I'd much rather have the $300 and dignity than a man's soiled shirt.

I was in LA for the 2006 shows and stopped at Amoeba in Hollywood where I picked up the 1991 Xmas single for a whopping $15.

    Hell. Yeah.

I'm not much of a collector, but I do enjoy my old Self Pollution Bootleg CD with the Mad Season and Soundgarden sessions on it.

    I found Ed!

Actually, he found us, or knew we were there, however you want to label it... but yeah, forget material possessions, that was my best "find" ;)

    Ugh.

I was working at Best Buy when these were supposed to come out. I held them in my hands... played one on the stereo in the back while I was sorting CDs... I was looking forward to taking one home on the SVT release day.

...but then I come in one day and immediately get grilled about whether I took one or not (because other people knew I played it back there)... they were all boxed up, but one was missing. They ALL needed to go back or we'd be in trouble. Someone found it in the time I was working so no suspicions stayed on me, thankfully... but I'd be lying if I said there have been times I wish I'd have had the balls to have taken one home. :/
