anyone sitting this one out?

i felt pretty lucky to see EV in chicago (night 2) last year and even though he's playing in memphis which is only a 3-4 hour drive for me, i am going to sit this one out. i am saving up my bones for more re-issues and possibly *hopefully a PJ tour later on. :D

i am totally stoked for those that didn't get a chance to go last year and that are gunning for tickets! you guys and gals won't be disappointed! liam finn opening the show was like seeing two headliners. the tickets were absolutely fantastic too!

    No, I sat out last year, so I'm trying for Memphis.

    Haven't seen a solo Eddie show yet, and haven't seen PJ since 2006.

    I saw Ed at T.O. 1....No solo shows for me this time.

    Yep, saw Ed out in L.A. for both of his shows. I feel like there won't be any new music or anything we didn't hear before. Also give me some time to save some $$$$$ for the(HOPEFULLY) fall tour. ;)

    I'm sitting this one out waiting for the full band... went to both Chicago shows last year for my 30th Bday. It was awesome!! Good luck & Congrats to all of those heading out to the shows this time around!!! You won't be disappointed!

    Yup

    Saw him both nights in Boston last summer, and while the shows were truly fantastic, I don't feel the need to pack up and travel to Albany to see him again. Of course, if he was playing Boston again, I might feel differently.

    I can't imagine his sets will be much different then what they were last year, so hopefully, we won't be missing too much. I'm sure the full band is going out in the fall, so I'll get to save money for those shows.

    I'm psyched for everyone that is getting a chance to see him for the first time. It really is a great show, in such an intimate setting. All PJ fans should be able to experience it.

    I saw Ed 4 times last summer...id really love to go see him this summer (especially Hawaii!) but we've got our first child on the way any day now so the timing isn't quite right. :-)

    Next time for sure!

    thought about it for a second but decided to go. saw him 4x last year and it was awesome but to be honest looking back i prob could have done without the 3rd and 4th show. the set lists are the same (not ed's fault by any means...only so much he can do) and the costs were a lot between the tix and the travel up to NY and NJ from philly. if he wasn't coming to philly i would have been out but cm'on how could i not go in my home town...i'd be kicking myself on june 13th if i didn't go ha ha!

    Yeah im sitting this one out, with Albany being the closest venue 2.5 hours away it just isnt gonna work out. If it was on the weekend I would be there but im gonna save my cash for the fall tour..hopefully.

    I was lucky enough to see Boston I last year and hopefully a bunch of people that didn't get to see Ed on the first leg get a chance...it truely is a once in a lifetime opportunity! :P

    I saw him once last year and it was a great show. I just hope he drops "No More" from his setlist this time.

    I have no choice but to sit this one out...South Florida is nowehere near any of the dates...thanks for that by the way...PJ barely comes down this way to begin with...blowing smoke up my own ass to think or hope that EV would play.

    I'm not flying across country for this one. Im not one to bitch about Pearl Jam doings but i am curious why he is only doing the east. Considering they have been in LA recoridng , etc.

    Oh well. Still excited to see some setlists and maybe a new song or two

    He's not coming anywhere near me and there's no way I'd pay that kind of money just to see Ed. I dropped $200 on a pair of U2 tickets, but at least that will have production, a full band, and a 2+ hour set. I'm tapped out, and no way do I have the funds to add traveling on top of the price tag for Ed tix.

    I saw both Toronto solo shows last year. Both were amazing. In all honesty, he can only change things up so much with the solo shows and as much as I know I that I would have a great time at one of these shows, I would rather leave the tickets for other people this time around. The solo shows are something that may never happen again and EVERYONE needs to experience one of these.

    I thought about Nashville, but I'm skipping them all together and saving my cash for Pearl Jam shows this fall (fingers crossed!)

    As great as Chicago 1 and 2 were, I'm sitting out this time. ACL won't be happening for me, either... I have a wedding in Houston on the 10th. Flying back and forth twice in one week is not going to happen.

    I wish they would drop a bone on something else!

    I'm pretty broke, so if I can't get a single seat during the public on sale I'll be sitting this one out, even though the Cobb Energy Center is only 5 minutes from my place.

    Saw Ed in LA 1 time... Would go if there were closer shows but that is fine. Will wait, like others, for a PJ tour.

    Plus----will have more time to save. Sucks to have 2 kids in college at same time!! :cry:
