    I agree! Don't do this for a PJ tour. The only thing I don't like is I can't go to multiple shows. If i fly 10 states away to see them...i don't want to go back home the next day......I wanna stay and hit 3-5 shows.

    The new system has my vote (for EV solo's, anyway). My connection is horrible at my new house. It just seems fair to everyone that we all get an equal chance.

    I agree that this system is fine, for the solo shows. They are a special treat, and sitting there at the show last August, it actually felt like we were all lucky lottery winners. I dont mind that the playing field is leveled for this... even though I figured out a good 'system' for pulling tickets quickly.

    However, I really hope a main PJ tour is run like it was last time. With the lottery for the 1st 2 rows.

    oh yeah its all fine and dandy now that we arent on our computers for three hours... however some of you might be bitching once you dont get picked for the lottery ya'll think is so great now...


    me, presonally i like the old way... i didnt care if i had to sit threre for hours, at least i knew whether i got my tickets or not.

    look at the tower theater... how many people do you think signed up for the lottery? if that place only holds about 2500 people... tenc only gets 10% of tickets at a venue... if they are upholding their normal procedures... that means tenc is only pulling 125 names....so in essence we are all gonna be scrambling to tm or the stubhub

    I hope this isnt the way they will do things for pj tour, and am hoping they are doing this for just ed, as the venues are smaller... the only problem i had getting tickets was msg last year... seems like a lot of the people who are bitching about the previous ticket policy are newer members... and maybe im wrong but it seems like some of you are pretty young (not that there is anything wrong with that) and might not be able to afford to go to many shows at all... i think if you have a job and have the $$$, than you should be able to go to as many shows as you would like...

    ...but who knows what the tenc will do for pj tour extravaganza '09/10
    it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    I like this system. It seems fair. Everyone has an equal chance. I am hoping to get lucky for some tickets.

    I also like this system. Seems fair that everyone will get a chance. Seems odd though that I had to find out on the board though - I never got an email about tour (although maybe they restricted that to US/Canadian people?)

    I didn't get an icon for 3 hours. I was lucky enough to see the Vic from the outside whilst lucky bastards waited inline to get their tickets. :shock:

    I got an email yesterday little after the tkts went on sale, it could have been that they emailed on US and Canadian 10C members like you said.

    common sense tells me that the 10club has no reason to use this system for PEARL JAM shows....

    unless of course the amount of tickets they are allowed to give to fan club members has changed...

    there seems to be PLENTY of tickets available to 10club members as is......right?????



    BUT.....just the thought of not being able to go to 20 shows and sit in your precious seats and continue your imaginary relationship with Edddie Vedder has some of you people ALL WORKED UP...........

    and i love it.....

    I'm not really sure what to think of this system...

    I think I don't mind it, cause I'm not going to any shows...hmmm

    I can't see this happening with a full blown tour, though...

    It's just weird how the 10C is constantly changing the system...its like they actually listen to the people that constantly bitch around here??? There are going to be people that are upset EVERYTIME, no matter what...

    Find a way that works (thought you had) and stick with it!! A new system for each tour is redonk, figure it out!!
