nobody sat on their computer for 1-3 hours....only to get shut out....
nobody had tickets in their cart.....only to lose them when the entered their credit card number....
nobody was charged $10,000 for tickets they never had......

Its not a perfect system(maybe a little more notice next time???)

BUT ITS A HELL OF A LOT BETTER THAN IT WAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    To be fair though... no one sat at their computer for 1-5 hours and got tickets either :)

    I think the system is an over-reach, but hopefully more people get to go now and enjoy the shows!

    well....in my opinion....

    you will see less people on this board going to shows....

    because now 50,000 10club members have 3 days to put in their requests for tickets....right????

    thats a lot of people trying for tickets.....

    and how many pairs are available for each show??? 50?? 100???


    But I have NO PROBLEM with distributing tickets like this.....

    I'm glad I checked my email tonight. Sometimes I go days without checking it. I would have been pissed. A little more notice would have been nice, but hell, I might be going to Albany!!

    something obviously had to change.

    the frustrating manner in which we have all been
    shut out, after spending hours on end trying for tickets
    was simply maddening.

    ticket limit for a regular PJ tour would suck..... though, I think you just love the request system.....

    Anyway, last year PJ tour worked out great... servers held up, and other than MSG, it wasn't hard to get tickets.

    If it was a "first come, first served/sellout in 2 seconds" show there would still be people who may not have gotten tickets, but at least this way if they didn't get them it's NOT because the servers crashed, the shopping cart f-ed up, they had 27 browsers open and accidently got charged 27 times, etc. etc. Of course people are still going to be disappointed, but at least they can say they had a fair shot.

    dont like this system at all.....

    sit on the computer go for tickets you get them or you dont thats life....its all the bitchin that 10c changed to this method, its sad that 10c bends waaaaay over backwards for all the whining

    i said this in another thread ive been shut out and i have succeeded for tickets, if you dont get 10c tickets there is always ticketbastard and ebay

    if this is just for the Ed shows then i guess there is more logic to it

    yeah and well done for restricting ticket access to those in the states regardless of the fact they keep taking the membership dues from overseas too

    I don't think restricting to the USA/Canada was a good thing at all. UNLESS, you are getting a European leg of Eddie only shows. Then it is a great thing. Cause even though some Euro's might have wanted to go to the US and then still hit shows in Europe, a few too many would potentially be stuck with US tickets and be pissed that they couldn't have known in advance that a local tour was coming.

    As for the rest of the world. Yeah. Not fair for sure.
