I opted for night one thinking I could get night 2 as my rollover show. It let me get night 1, but not night 2... a bit confused that they mention a second "rollover" show without letting you put in for it. I know they are not guaranteed tix but at least this would have given me a second shot.

It's because it's not definite there will be a night 2. It all depends on how the sale goes to the GP. If it seels out fast, they will add a second show.

It's because Philly 2 is a confirmed show, not a possible "rollover."

The only rollovers possibilities listed on the page are Albany 2 and Memphis 2.

Yes, and that's your best bet. The last stop on the subway from Center City is right at the door for The Tower.

depending on where you stay, you might be better off taking a cab, Tower is 20 min tops from center city.

The El lets you out right at the Tower, basically. But that's only if it's running! I have had some issues in the distant past, and in the recent past, with the stations not giving service on weekends because of repairs and shit. It's iffy, at best.

Yeah, but even if there were hotels near it, you wouldn't want to stay at them!
I think there are a couple further up Chestnut, at the university? Can someone confirm? I am pretty sure I saw a Sheraton when we were driving past on our way home from the Tower this past weekend.

I'm just going to take a taxi to and from... I hate dealing with Septa.

I know cabs run heavy on market street but do they pass the theater often? I would assume they would on nights of shows.

Trust me... you don't want to stay "near" the theater. Try the hotel at U of P, I think it's called the Inn at Penn or something. Also you can try Howard Johnson's in Springfield which is 10 min away from Tower

There's a few hotels at Penn. There's the Inn at Penn, Sheraton, Hilton, Penn Tower, etc. I used to go there. They're a little pricy but in a safe neighborhood.

Cabbin it is a good idea, you may find it hard to find one after the show....You really don't want to end up wandering around that neighborhood late at night.
