When I find something on 10C's site that I want, I buy it. Don't care much about the price, think overall prices are very reasonable and conveinent. Quality is often first rate, have washed my T's hundreds of times and still okay. I don't pay sales tax and shipping is in line with other merchants so all in all a good value. Don't have to drive to a store, deal with Sheeple. I also feel I've gotten way more value from the fellas than they've gotten from me individually. Fk, listened to studio version of Present Tense today and it blew me away as it did the first time I heard it.
Do though understand how others that have same appreciation of the band may be upset due to pricing and perceived strategy/marketing. We're accustomed to things being "Limited" and thus many (like me first hour available) may jump on purchase before realizing the merchandise may be plentiful and ultimately less expensive at other outlets. For some $12.00 is alot of money...and I can appreciate this....having lived on rice and beans for few years. So think both sides of this tired argument should just take a chill pill....crank up Present Tense, and feel the power and magic this wonderful group of humans created....do it NOW!

    Sing with me......

do you see the way that tree bends?
    does it inspire?
leaning out to catch the sun's rays
    a lesson to be applied
are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?
you can spend your time alone, redigesting past regrets, oh

    Peace

However, PJ is Ten Club, and Ten Club is a corporation out to make money.

I really wish more people around here would understand that. Too many people around here have pearl jam blinders on. They think everything is done for us and they would never try to get more money from us. It's a business first and foremost. They knew what they were doing when they announced some of the sets would be signed. It's funny when they say "I would rather support the band and buy here than from the evil corporations" but they are also a corporation...one that is more expensive than the "evil" ones. I bought here thining they were signing more than a handful of sets. I don't regret it. When you are done with tax at Best Buy it's only a few bucks cheaper than here. I just wish they were a little more upfront about how many were being signed.
