I got a thing for Yuengling Lager since that was the beer of choice for all my rural PA family growing up. I'm an admitted full-on beer snob these days, but still get the occasional hankering and make sure to imbibe copious amounts whenever I'm in town visiting. Ahhh, hoagies and Yuenglings.... ::drools::<!-- Facebook Fan Badge START --><div style="width: 100%;"><div style="background: #3B5998;padding: 5px;"><img src="http://www.facebook.com/images/fb_logo_small.png" alt="Facebook"/><img src="http://badge.facebook.com/badge/147713062953.614141056.2133926001.png" alt="" width="0" height="0"/></div><div style="background: #EDEFF4;display: block;border-right: 1px solid #D8DFEA;border-bottom: 1px solid #D8DFEA;border-left: 1px solid #D8DFEA;margin: 0px;padding: 0px 0px 5px 0px;"><div style="background: #EDEFF4;display: block;padding: 5px;"><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"><tr><td valign="top"><img src="http://www.facebook.com/images/icons/fbpage.gif" alt=""/></td><td valign="top"><p style="color: #808080;font-family: verdana;font-size: 11px;margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px;padding: 0px 8px 0px 8px;"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/donny.anderson3" title="Donny Anderson" target="_TOP" style="color: #3B5998;font-family: verdana;font-size: 11px;font-weight: normal;margin: 0px;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;text-decoration: none;">Donny Anderson</a> is a fan of</p></td></tr></table></div><div style="background: #FFFFFF;clear: both;display: block;margin: 0px;overflow: hidden;padding: 5px;"><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"><tr><td valign="middle"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Seattle-WA/All-Thats-Sacred/147713062953" title="All That's Sacred" target="_TOP" style="border: 0px;color: #3B5998;font-family: verdana;font-size: 12px;font-weight: bold;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;text-decoration: none;"><img src="http://www.facebook.com/profile/pic.php?oid=AAAAAwAgACAAAAAMe57NWURaItSTAkndkF9yqc7YLeudXUlRbmI8Zlgt-969scmCqdU_G75K8TUPm74XnrGy4aB9ajQkobWBvlZyhgM-q2b4ag6Rsz_-7m8GsQaFt3vc_HiYJNPN_5g-HvB-&size=square" style="border: 0px;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;" alt="All That's Sacred"/></a></td><td valign="middle" style="padding: 0px 8px 0px 8px;"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Seattle-WA/All-Thats-Sacred/147713062953" title="All That's Sacred" target="_TOP" style="border: 0px;color: #3B5998;font-family: verdana;font-size: 12px;font-weight: bold;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;text-decoration: none;">All That's Sacred</a></td></tr></table></div></div><div style="display: block;float: right;margin: 0px;padding: 4px 0px 0px 0px;"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/facebook-widgets/fanbadges.php" title="Create your Fan Badge" target="_TOP" style="color: #3B5998;font-family: verdana;font-size: 11px;font-weight: none;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;text-decoration: none;">Create your Fan Badge</a></div></div><!-- Facebook Fan Badge END -->0

The never stopped making Stroh's.
The Stroh Brewery in Detroit shut down in the late 80's-early 90's, but I believe Pabst bought the rights to Stroh's and continued to sell it.
Now it's owned and distrubuted by Miller.
And Shlitz is becoming more widely available. I don't think they ever stopped making that either, but they are making more of it now. At the liquor store I go to (the guy has owned it forever) he told me that anytime there is a downturn in the economy, Shlitz ups it's production. I have no idea if it's true or not, but he said that when the economy starts getting bad, people buy cheaper beer.
Wish you were here...

My favourite beer, Alexander Keith's, is classified and premium domestic here in Ontario, so it's a little more than most of the other Canadian beers. But I have friends in Halifax where it's brewed, and it's a regular domestic there, which I enjoy immensely.
In fact, when my friends got married out there, the reception was on Canadian Forces property (he's in the Navy), so a full pint was $3.25 - the military buys beer in bulk. They frequently predrink aboard their ships out there, because all beer costs $1 per can: Keith's, Moosehead, Heineken....
Well, let's see. The keg was $60.
There are 15.5 gallons in a keg.
About 128 fluid ounces in a gallon.
So in a keg there are about 165, 12-ounce servings.
So it costs about $0.36 a glass...

I inherited an old 80's bar deco light up Shlitz thing that has this bulls head in it. You pull the rope and the whole thing buzzes, flickers, and then dimmly lights up...and the bulls eyes glow red.

Still love it.
But I grew up in Metro Detroit, so of course my first beer was a Stroh's. My friends make fun of me for drinking it. But today I was really excited.
After searching for awhile, I found a place that would order me a keg of Stroh's.
I just picked it up and loaded it in the kegerator. Now I'm sitting on my couch, enjoying an ice-cold draft Stroh's.
It. Is. Epic.walk the bridges,.......before you burn them down0 -

One of the bars down the street has PBR, Black Label and Blatz. Only place I've ever been where PBR is the premium selection. I love the place!"The dude abides. I don't know about you, but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' her easy for all us sinners."0

Great philosophy. I normally buy a locally brewed hefeweizen called Golden Spike. It is, to say the least, the most delicious brew I've had. But, when money is tight, I go for the PBR.7/2/06 - Denver, CO
