Stephen A Smith was just on ESPN for about 10 minutes, yelling at me ... telling me why nothing is TO's fault.

    TO's the victim.

when asked where TO will go, Smith stated (paraphrasing), "Somewhere that has a GOOD querterback, someone that can get him the ball." .... nice little swipe at Romo there.

Does that mean TO plans on catching the ball wherever he goes? ;) Because he has more than his share of drops in big situations.

The guy is a locker room cancer. He has imploded every team he's been on. Surprised Jerry Jones saw the light and actually cut this asshole.

To be honest, I would take him back in a heartbeat. 2004 was a great year. I'd put up with his BS to have a receiver that consistently produces.

That's what I was going to say. He has nothing to complain about. He was part of the most prolific QB/WR combo of the past three years.

I for one am glad he (along with Pacman and Tank) is gone. I was glad they signed him originally. I think they had to have him to take their shot. They went 13-3 in 2007 and pissed it away in the playoffs. So, that was their shot. They blew it. Time to move on. At 35 he is no longer worth the money or the headache. Fans were willing to put up with it 2 or 3 years ago, nut not now. Time to move on.

I really like the moves the Cowboys are making. Jerry always said chemistry does not matter, only talent. How many times did he have to be proven wrong before figuring out chemistry has a lot to do with it?

Giants have already said no way. Glad the Steelers would never think of signing a douche like TO. He'll end up in Oakland if he still wants to play. I don't think any winning team would want to add him to the mix. Maybe Washington.

First of all let me first start by saying that I hate TO. Fuck that guy!

Who could he possible play for now?
You know he'll need a quality QB and you know he won't go to some scrub team.

    Philly- Out
    Dallas- Out
Giants- Don't see that ever happening. He'd probably make Eli cry.
Colts- Would make sense to me. Peyton appears to be losing his big threat in Harrison. Hmmm...
Arizona- Would also make sense. If they bring Warner back (not so sure) he'd be able to get the ball to him for many touches, and he still has a good/accurate arm. If they opt for Leinart, then that could be trouble.
Seattle- Seahawks have been flat the last couple years and Hasselback has no big or real threat to throw to. I don't see it happening though.
Green Bay or Minnesota- Could use a big, deep threat not sure if I see it happening though as I don't think TO would want to play for Rodgers or Jackson.

TO has burned so many bridges in the past, it's going to be tough.

arizona's already got the best 3 receiving corp in the league. they won't take him, even if they do end up trading boldin--breatson is a quality wideout.

Mike Golic on Mike & Mike brought up New Orleans today... that seemed to make sense, a team that throws the ball all over the field.

Dude we sucked so bad before he came, and we were fun to watch while he was with the team. Not only that but he was right Romo did chicken out and throw to Witten before he should have. The magic of HD reveals how many times TO came open a split second before or after Romo would check down. One perfect example is the Cowboys-Giants game a few years back when Romo hit Witten for like a 40 yard pass to set up Martin Grammatica for a game winning FG. If you go back to that play about 20 yards further down field Owens was wide open for a TD.

Was he a jerk and annoying? Sure. With the homophobic exception (not cool) of Jeff Garcia being gay was he ever really wrong in his assessments? J. Lurie is a cheap M-F? Correct. McNabb fat and out of shape puker? Correct. Drew Bledsoe sucks? Correct. Tony Romo gives up on plays to early? Correct.

    I will definitely miss him.

Good riddance.....I can't believe whoever said this was the saddest day as a Cowboy fan..for real? I could careless that he and Roy Williams are gone. What did they help the team do? Did they help win a playoff game?? Umm, no they didn't. Time to cut your losses and move on.

I wouldn't be surprised if Washington was in the mix to sign him.

and maybe he didnt throw it to owens cause he probably drop it like he has alot. owens has dropped more passes then any wr in the past few years. hes a flat out cancer and divides the locker room and is a circus. he's a perfect fit for the radiers and there fans. do you play on the cowboys defense or are you sam hurd.

TO dropped all the passes in 2007 because he had a broken finger courtesy Sean Taylor in Week 2...the members of the media conveniently forgot to mention that. Plus he did also make ridiculous catches as well. I didn't say he was perfect, or that he was the greatest teammate, but what were we as a team before him? What did he add? As a Cowboy he scored a shit ton of TDs and helped Witten look better than his lame ass is. I hope I am wrong, and we'll see next year. I won't quit on being a fan, and it may make us better, but it was a whole lot more fun when he was around.

Correct.

    I will definitely miss him.

hahaha....wow. you just might be the only T.O fan still around these days! you can't be serious!

all i can tell you, as an eagles fan, i'm sad to see him leave the cowboys. he would have only brought them down further next year. he's a cancer. has been on every team he's ever played for. he deserves the nfl purgatory of oakland that hopefully will be his next stop.

I won't quit on being a fan, and it may make us better, but it was a whole lot more fun when he was around.

are you crying? that's your receiver, man!:cry:
