Personalize 10C Pre Order Super Deluxe to help STOP FLIPPING

I know you can never stop flipping......but I'd never sell my Super Deluxe Cd signed... For Mary...Aloha..Eddie Vedder. You could NEVER buy that off me. I think this might be a way to make some people think twice before flipping. Great idea D!!!

    I'm not telling anyone what to do or trying to pass judgement by any means......I'm just saying it would be cool if band members could some way personalize the 10C Pre Orders. I know that things will always be flipped. That's the way it is........fans will be stoked no matter what it says though really! I was just trying to get some attention for the Pre Order signatures. This was just an idea. I hope they sign them all for every person that ordered early. If mine is signed by Vedder, and has a Wave doodle on it for example........I'll be walking on air all the way home! The truth is I'm stoked just to get it. Signed or unsigned. It's like a little PJ time capsule. One I'll never sell.

    If they only signed copies for the people who bought through 10C early... they could use the first name from your account maybe? It wouldn't surprise me to see the band sign all pre orders. Ed signed 118 posters with Brad this year just as an example. Any ideas on how many copies will be signed?

    i hear talk they're bringing them in for one day and having them sign as much as they can

    That would be so cool. If they do it that way there is a chance that all 10C pre orders may get signed copies!!! :)

    Yeah, because, they really don't have anything else to do other than just to sit down and write your name on the copy. You should probably be happy that they are not signed by TenC interns. :lol:

    It would be no different than personalizing a year book or stamping a photo.

    The computer could stamp your ten club number on the the box easily.

    You know, I'm not sure why I've never been overly interested in signatures like this, but I just don't get excited about it...

    ...for some reason the signature thing didn't appeal to me when I was a child collecting football cards, and I guess I just never developed an excitement over it...

    ...I mean, and don't get me wrong, I probably would be a little bit excited if my pre-order showed up signed... but I'm not sure that if it wasn't personalized that I wouldn't offer it up on the board in trade for an unsigned one for someone who gets stoked over sigs...

    I don't know... I think I'm weird... the more I sit here and think about it, I think it has something to do with memories... like I can remember as a child getting Mark Price and Larry Nance's signatures at some luncheon thing... and it didn't really make me stoked...

    I guess we are both weird. I mean, if I met them I would get their autograph, but the cooler part would be meeting them and if they were too busy to sign then oh well. It will be cooler kinda comin straight from the band, but mail order autographs are about as unexciting as it gets, to me.

    And, washedinblack, where did you hear that?

    Thanks Paul! It wouldn't surprise me if the band did do something really cool like that for the first Super Deluxe release. They always seem to try and treat the hardcore 10C members right. Ed signed 118 of the AP Chicago posters. A few have been flipped on the bay for $$. I wonder if they personalized the first 100 SD copies for 10C members..... how many would be flipped?

    For those people who don't think they would get excited by getting a signed copy sent to them......I was so stoked when I found out my AP Chicago was signed by Brad AND Ed....then to see it....I was ON the moon! :) It's an "official" eV signature.

    I guess it's who you are. All I know is anything personally signed to me would never be parted with...ever!

    The band is way too busy to be personalizing all the pre-orders of the Super Deluxe box...JUST BE HAPPY IF YOU GET AN AUTOGRAPH! I could care less if they signed it "Dear Stephanie..." I will just be thrilled IF I actually get a signed box by any of the guys in the band. Now if I were to meet one of the guys in the person then I would want a personalized autograph but through the mail is just stupid. :roll:

    I don't think the poster that Brad Klausen sent to me here in Hawaii was stupid. It was signed "For Mary.....Brad Klausen." I guess he must have liked the thank you letter I wrote him about the previous sale he had?
    I bet you would have been just as surprised and stoked as I was to get that in the mail. :o

    Sweet! I knew the band would support all the crazy loyal fans. They try and go out of the way for 10C. I have waited so long for this. This was a Christmas present I bought for my husband.

    I would add that if its not personalised I would never sell it, if it is personalised I would never sell it but more importantly the flippers will not be able to...

    Mary, I have to disagree with you. I personally would prefer to get a personalized autograph in person it would mean a lot more to me. If that makes you happy then more power to you. With regard to the Super Deluxe box I am hoping and praying that I get an autograph from one of the guys on my box. You should be thankful to be just getting an autograph!

    Who cares if someone decides to "flip" their box?? I would never sell mine but I could care less what anyone else does with theirs.

    I agree with you that I would like to see the boys sign as many as possible. I know people will always be flipping anything. It was just an idea that I hoped would spark intrest in this topic. I will be so stoked if my box is signed at all. Don't get me wrong. It is very exciting, and I would be so happy!
