Another solid effort from King Felix tonight.
No doubt, King Felix strikes again and rolls to his 4th win. The bats sure were hitting hard in the nightcap with 14 I think. Russell Branyan going 5 for 5!! Man that guy is swinging a hot bat right now!!

And surprisingly, Jakubauskas even had a great game in the early game, though he lost 2-1. He held the Sox to only 2 hits.

Rubber match tomorrow with Bedard on the mound. Would be great to pick up another series win.

    Go Mariners!!!

Damn it, lost our 2nd series today. Not happy about that. Oh well, I know we will lose at least a series or two a month. But, i still wish we would just go ahead and win them all. ;)

    Go M's!!!

Alright, we had a day off yesterday.

Lets get right back on the horse and take this series at home against the A's.

Silva is on the mound. Hopefully he has another good outing and can earn another W.

    Go M's!!!

Whew, what a 15 inning rubber match with the A's! Glad we were able to win the game and the series!!!

Finally, we get a 2 game look at Texas....the only team in our division we haven't played yet. We've got King Felix and Bedard starting both games....should be a lot of fun at The Safe to wrap up this short home stand!!!

    Go M's!!!!

If we win tonight, the M's will have won 6 of their last 8 series and will have pulled back to a .500 record.

    Go M's!!!
  • aNiMaLaNiMaL Posts: 7,117
It is great to be back to the .500 mark. Let get ahead of it tonight in CO. Back to a little inter-league play tonight. See if we can take advantage of the air at a mile high.

    Go M's!!
  • aNiMaLaNiMaL Posts: 7,117
Okay, back to .500, again. Once again, lets see if we can build on that.

Great the we keep winning series, for the most part. It's gonna be a tough road trip though hitting the Dodgers, Yankees, and Red Sox.

Jr's pinch hitting 2-run home run to tie the game in the 8th inning the other night was fucking AWESOME!!!

HORRIBLE what happened to Endy Chavez!! Wow, season ending. He fucked his knee all up. Godspeed on your recovery, Endy. Get well soon, hope to see you back by this time next year fully recovered.

Lets sweep these Dbacks today with King Felix on the mound for Father's Day at The Safe!!

    Go M's!!
  • aNiMaLaNiMaL Posts: 7,117
Alright! Got the sweep and went a game over .500 for the first time since like early May.

    Go M's!!

Holy shit what a month of June!! We won all but one series, including just taking two out of three from the Dodgers in LA!! Three games over .500 and three games out of first place.

Yankees, we are coming for you next. Looking forward to hitting some long balls out of your new ballpark.

    Go M's!!!

As a Mariners fan it feels pretty good to have beat the best team in baseball in their own house.

    Go M's!!!

Not too damn bad on one of our toughest road trips of the year. Took 2 out 3 in LA against the Dodgers. Unfortunately, dropped 2 out of 3 in NY at the new Yankee Stadium, but had a good series. But, then come right back and take 2 games (so far) to win the series in Boston at Fenway Park!!!

Going for the sweep of Boston tomorrow!!! Happy Fourth of July!!!!!

    Go M's!!!

It's nice that the M's have 20% of the starting lineup.

    Congrats to Ichiro and Felix

How about Jarrod Washburn?!?!?!?! What an amazing game he threw last night. Just phenomenal!!

Bedard takes the mound tonight for the first time in some time. Good luck Eric, hope you are back to full speed.

Great win last night against Texas.

Here is some M's breaking news:

Yuniesky Betancourt traded to the Royals in exchange for RHP Danny Cortes & LHP Derrick Saito.

Cortes will report to AA West Tenn in the Southern League and Saito will report to A Clinton in the Midwest League.

Maybe the Royals can coach Yuni.

Fuck that house of horrors up there. I hate that place.

Kidding. Congrats on the series and we now officially have a 3 team race for the west. Thank God. I am sick of the fucking Angels winning it every year.

Thread needs a bump for the acquisition of Jack Wilson and the sell-high deal of Washburn.

Got the Yankees game coming up on the 13th!

Congratulations to the Seattle Mariners for winning 85 games (85-77) in 2009!!! Wooohooo, that is 24 more game won than we won in 2008 (61-101).

All things relative to how I felt after last season, this was one special special season!! Selfishly, I want Junior back for one more year in 2010, even if it is as a player/coach type of situation.

Anyhow, so many great memories from this year, so many great players, but a real tip of the hat goes to rookie manager Don Wakamatsu!!! You sure have proven yourself a true Mariner and a true asset to our sporting community in Seattle. I think you should be Manager of the Year for 2009!!!

Good luck to Jack Z. this off season to put together an even better team for 2010!!!

Thanks again Mariners. I couldn't be happier with my new M's ball cap purchase way back in April.

I would say that besides the Tigers, they probably are the biggest positive surprise in the AL. They've done a nice job and it was nice to Griffey in the AL again taking batting practice at Yankee Stadium this year and it was also nice to see their ballpark for the first time.
